GIVE BACK TO GOD WHAT IS BEST

The Psalmist expressed his feeling that God, as He promised, blesses, watches over, and lifts up those who love and honor Him. I can also testify that “God is good and His mercy endures forever,” even before I entered ministry full time. On June 8, 1985, I got married, and on March 8, 1986, God blessed us with a son. When he was four to six months old, he got sick all the time and had to go to the clinic to see the doctor 20 times a month. Our neighbors even jokingly called him, “Saw Clinic.” When our son turned six-months-old, the doctor said he could not treat him anymore. He suggested we go to Thailand. He gave him an injection and told us to rush to Thailand. Our baby was not looking good. At that time we lived in Kaw Thaung and medical equipment to diagnose illnesses was inadequate. We were worried sick. We sold what we had, a boat, and went to Ranong, Thailand. The doctor there told us there was nothing he could do. Another hospital also refused to admit our child. Then, by God’s grace, we got to go to eastern Thailand and got treatment for our son there. Just after a week, my son felt better and we came home. As soon as we got home, my wife and I knelt down and prayed to God to praise Him and ask Him to continue to watch over our son. I gave a promise to God I would serve Him and I would be His vassal for His kingdom work. Just as I promised, I served as a deacon in the church for 16 years. In 2002, I turned forty-years-old. The grace of God touched me so deeply and the blessings of God followed me so continually that I went to Bible school, learned His word, and started serving as God’s anointed pastor up to now.
