ယွၤအိၣ်စိအိၣ်ကမီၤပၢၤတၢ်ခဲလၢာ်လီၤ. ‘‘ယဆၢကတီၢ်တဖၣ်အိၣ်ဝဲလၢနစုအပူၤလီၤ’’ (စံးထီၣ်ပတြၢၤ ၃၁:၁၅). ဖဲယလဲၤလၢကျဲဆူ ကညီလံာ်စီဆှံကၠိ ဖျိကၠိအမူး ဖဲဘဲကျီးအခါန့ၣ် ယအိၣ်လၢသိလ့ၣ်ဘၣ်ဒိသတူၢ်ကလာ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ယပှံာ်တဖၣ်ဒီး ယပသိၣ်တဖၣ် ဘၣ်ဒိသ့ၣ်ဖးဝဲန့ၣ်လီၤ. ယတူၢ်ဘၣ်စ့ၢ်ကီး သွံၣ်အတၢ်စုၣ်တၢ်ပျၢ်တၢ်ဆါ လၢပှၤကိးလၢ စဲးပတံၤစံမံယါ န့ၣ်လီၤ. ယဘၣ်တၢ်ကူးကွဲးယါဘျါယၤခံဘျီ ဒီး ယဘၣ်အိၣ်လၢ တၢ်ဆါဟံၣ် အဒၢးလၢပှၤဘၣ်ကွၢ်ထွဲလ့ၤတုၢ်လ့ၤတီၤ လီၤတံၢ်လီၤဆဲး မ့ၢ်လၢတၢ်ဘၣ်ယိၣ်ဘၣ်ဘီအိၣ်ဝဲအဒိၣ်အယိာ်အဃိန့ၣ်လီၤ. ကသံၣ်သရၣ်တဖၣ်တမုၢ်လၢ်လၢယကအိၣ်မူလၢၤဘၣ်. အဝဲသ့ၣ်ဆိကမိၣ်လၢယကသံလီၤ. ယမုၢ်လၢ်ကွၢ်လၢ်ယဲလၢ ယကလဲၤအိၣ်ဘၣ်ဒီးကစၢ်ခရံာ်, သနာ်က့ ယွၤစံးဝဲ, ‘‘ယတသံဘၣ်, မ့ၢ်ယကမူဒီးစံၣ်တဲၤတဲလီၤ ယွၤအတၢ်မၤတဖၣ် လီၤ.’’ တၢ်ဆါဟံၣ်လၢအအိၣ် ဖဲဝ့ၢ်လၢယဘၣ်ဒိန့ၣ် ကူစါယၤတသ့တဘၣ်ဘၣ်အဃိ, အဆှၢယၤဆူတၢ်ဆါဟံၣ် အိၣ်လၢ ခၠ့မၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ.

THE LORD IS IN CONTROL AND HE LOVES US!

Bible in a Year: Jeremiah 16, Jeremiah 17; Colossians 4:2-18; Psalm 118:17-29  

“I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD.”  
Psalm 118:17  NKJV

God is in control.  “My times are in Your hands.” (Psalm 31:15).  I was in a car accident on my way to the  Karen Bible school graduation in the refugee camp at Beh Klaw. I had ruptured my intestines and lungs. I also suffered from blood poisoning known as septicemia. I had two surgeries and was in the ICU for two months.  The doctors did not expect me to live.  They thought I would die, and I was looking forward to going to be with Jesus, but the Lord told me “I shall not die, but live and  declare the works of the Lord”.  They could not care for me at the hospital in the city where I had the accident, and sent me to a hospital in Chiang Mai. 

I left the hospital two months later in a wheelchair and unable to eat solid food. One month later, the Lord miraculously healed me and I ate a full meal with no problems. I have been fine ever since, and returned to Thailand to serve the Lord and the Karen people. That was 19 years ago (2002) and I’m still very much alive and declaring His truth, wonders and love to the Karen people and anyone else who wants to know! The Lord is good. Trust Him. He loves you!

Are you trusting the Lord and His will even if it is not what you want? 
Where is your security? 
Is it in the Lord or your circumstances, family, friends, finances, etc.?

Prayer

Lord, please help me trust you completely, especially when life is hard, sad, confusing, and I don’t understand.  Help me trust You and Your promises in Your Word. Help me to look to and depend on You alone, knowing You are planning the best for me because You died for me and love me with Your unchanging love. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
