GOD IS GOOD

It happened when I finished studying in the Philippines and was about to return to Burma. Because I was leaving the Philippines for good, I had to go through a process called visa downgrading prior to leaving. Following the rules, I submitted my application and other necessary paperwork and fulfilled my duty. The time came to finish the visa downgrading process and I went to the immigration office. I was told I would have to wait for two more weeks. I just did not have that kind of time. I could only wait until the end of the day. I had waited since the time when the immigration office opened at 7 AM and kept asking the staff there to expedite the process. Hours went by and they would still not do anything. I kept on waiting and at 4:45 PM, a staff member spoke to me and told me to come back in the morning and they would help me then. I said I could not do that. He then asked me if I would come back to the Philippines. I told him I would never come to the Philippines again. After talking to him for three minutes, he took care of my paperwork and I was able to go home at 5 PM. God is good. God does things beautiful in His own time. God is never late even for one minute or one second. We can taste and see that the Lord is always good. Let us joyfully praise God continually in our lives!

Do I taste the Lord and know He is good? Do I call upon His Name with joy?

Prayer
Dear God, please give me the heart to want to know You. Open my eyes so I will see how good You are. Teach me to always praise You! In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
