UNITY BRINGS GLORY TO GOD
Bible in a Year: 2 Chronicles 35:20-27, 2 Chronicles 36; 2 Corinthians 3:7-18; Psalm 104:19-30
“May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in his works.”
Psalm 104:31 NIV
When we visited a lady, we heard her say, “I wish my daughter would still be alive.” She started telling us about the passing of her daughter. This mother said that she fought with, scolded, and cursed at her daughter when she was alive. When the daughter died suddenly, she regretted and remembered how her daughter was a blessing to the family. She missed her daughter very much, but it was too late and there was nothing she could do. Therefore, it is important for family members to live together in love, understanding, and humility, but also adopt a mindset and heart that seek to glorify God. Life on earth is only temporary. We, who call ourselves followers of Christ, must lead a life that shines the glory of God just as Christ spent His life for His Father’s glory. God believes in us and chooses us to live for His glory. May God rejoice when He sees the heart and work of His people. The scriptures tell us, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity” (Psalm 133:1), and, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35). When we still have time, let us seek and keep unity in our homes, our churches, and our communities.

Dear Father God, as You trust in us, choose us, and put us on this earth, let us be Your children who live to glorify You. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
