WHEN GOD ARISES, HIS ENEMIES WILL BE SCATTERED

Before God gave us our current church building, there was an abortion clinic in the neighborhood. As believers, we understand killing a baby inside a mother’s womb as an act against the creator. Many churches came together and prayed, especially during the weekend, every week for this clinic to stop its operation. After praying for many years, this abortion clinic ceased to exist due to the power of prayers.
God miraculously gave us a property that includes the church and other buildings at a very affordable price. We prayed for 7 to 8 years that we would be able to worship freely. The building we purchased had not been well-maintained for many years. In the initial period after we bought the building, lawbreakers and substance abusers came to the church compound day and night non-stop. After we moved in and started worshipping, we found that criminal activities decreased. We can now say those trespassing activities are over. God’s sanctuary is filled with His glory once again.
Reflection
Have you felt in your life that you were surrounded by evil enemies? We must know that the one who dwells inside us is greater than the enemies on this earth. If you call upon God, He will rise up for you and scatter all your enemies.
Prayer
Lord, we acknowledge your mighty power. No power on this earth can be greater than yours. We pray that you will protect us, your children, from the enemies who are planning evil plots against us. You are our rock, and our hiding place. We praise your name for our victories through you. We thank you and pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
