GOD IS WITH YOU

In this Bible verse, Saul asked David to fight for victory on behalf of the Israelites. When I was in Bible school, I had no money to go on a mission trip. Others had money to meet their needs. But I had none. I fasted and challenged God to show me His power and miracle. In the morning, unexpectedly, someone brought an envelope and told me, “Your mother sent you this for your expenses.” I opened the envelope and found 3,000 Thai Bahts. I was so happy and excited that God answered my prayer instantly. Since then, my faith grew stronger and I felt confident in His promises.
When I started working in the church ministry, I was single. I had no home, no wife, no child, and no money. I had to depend on God, friends, and family. But I was not discouraged. Following God’s call and being content with where He placed me, I pledged to serve Him willingly. By God’s grace, I met a beautiful life partner, a gift from God. God blesses us with beautiful children. Furthermore, God provides possessions for me and fulfills all my needs.
Reflection
What are your concerns about answering God’s call? I would like to share with you this poem:
If you hear God whistling at noon or in the afternoon, follow Him straight away,
If you hear God playing horn in the afternoon or evening, follow Him without delay.
When God calls you and gives you a job, follow Him and do it willingly. He will be with you. He knows your needs. He will fulfill His duties as You fulfill your duties.
Go! God will be with you.
Prayer
God, bless and protect those serving in Your mission fields and ministries from trials and temptations. Prepare a table before them full of blessings according to the measure of Your promises. Let everyone trust You and know that You live forever. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
