“ဒီးလၢအမုၢ်နံၤတဖၣ်န့ၣ်, ပှၤကညီကဃုတၢ်သံဘၣ်ဆၣ်ဒီးတထံၣ်န့ၢ်ဘၣ်ဝဲဘၣ်. ဒီးကဆၢသံအသး, ဒီးတၢ်သံကဃ့ၢ်ကွံာ်လၢအအိၣ်လီၤ.”

ဖဲအပူၤကွံာ်တယံာ်ဒံးဘၣ် ယၤဒီးယတခွါမုၣ်ခံဂၤ ပဟးပိာ်လိာ်ပခံဒီးကတိၤသကိးတၢ် ဘၣ်ဃးဒီး ၂၀၂၀နံၣ်, ဆၢကတီၢ်မုၢ်မဆါတနံၤအံၤ အတၢ်ဆီတလဲ ဒီး အတၢ်ကဲထီၣ်အသးတမံၤဝံၤတမံၤလီၤ. ပဆိကမိၣ်ဒီးထိၣ်သတြီၤ အီၤ ဒ်လံာ်စီဆှံအပူၤတၢ်ပာ်ဖျါသးအသိး ဒီးယနာ်လၢယွၤအကလုၢ်ကထါအတၢ်စံးပာ်တဖၣ် လၢထီၣ်ပှဲၤထီၣ်ဝဲ တခါဘၣ်တခါ ကွ့ၢ်ကွ့ၢ်လီၤ. ဒီးယခွါမုၣ်န့ၣ်တဲယၤဒ်အံၤ “တနံၤအံၤ ယဖးလံာ်စီဆှံလၢအမ့ၢ် လံာ်တၢ်လီၣ်ဖျါတဘ့ၣ် ဒီး အခီပညီ ယနၢ်တပၢၢ်ဘၣ်. သနာ်က့ယပျံၤတၢ်ဒိၣ်မးလီၤ. ဒီးယဆိကမိၣ်တၢ်လဲၤမးအကထၢဒီးအကထၢလီၤ.” ဒီးတဲကဒီးဝဲ “ယဖးဘၣ်လံာ်လီၣ်ဖျါတတီၤတဲဝဲလၢ မုၢ်နံၤအကတုၤအိၣ်ပှၤ ဖဲပကဘၣ်ကွၢ်ဆၢၣ်မဲာ်ဒီး တၢ်ဘၣ်တူၢ် တၢ်ဒီး နးထဲလဲၣ်, ဖှီၣ်ထဲလဲၣ်, ဆါထဲလဲၣ်, ဆါဒ်ပတ့ၤချဲးကမၤဆါပှၤ တုၤလၢပတူၢ်တန့ၢ်ပတူၢ်တကဲဘၣ်. ပအဲၣ်ဒိးသနာ်က့ တၢ်သံကဃ့ၢ်သဒၣ်ကွံာ်ပှၤလီၤ.” ဒီးသါသဖှိထီၣ်ဝဲ, ဒီးတဲကဒီးဝဲ “တၢ်အံၤဖဲပစိၤပမ့ၢ်တချုးန့ၢ်ဒံး သနာ်က့ လီၤက့ၤလၢပဖိစိၤ ပလံၤစိၤမီၤ, ဘၣ်ကိၢ်ဘၣ်ဂီၤဒိၣ်မးလီၤ.” ယတဲဘၣ်က့ၤအီၤ, “အိ…နသးအသုတဘၣ် ကိၢ်ဘၣ်ဂီၤတဂ့ၤ. မ့မ့ၢ်တခီ အိၣ်မူလၢနတၢ်နာ်န့ၢ်ကစၢ်ယွၤ ဂၢၢ်ဂၢၢ်ကျၢၤကျၢၤ, တုၤလီၤတီၤလီၤ, ဘါထုကဖၣ်, ပာ်စီဆှံအါထီၣ်နသး ဖးလံာ်စီဆှံဆူၣ်ဆူၣ်တက့ၢ်. နကဒိးန့ၢ်ဘၣ်သးအဂံၢ်အဘါလၢလၢပှဲၤပှဲၤလီၤ. တုၤလၢကစၢ်ယွၤ အသးမုာ်စီဆှံ အိၣ်ဆိး လၢနပူၤတဘျီလံန့ၣ် နတၢ်ဆိကမိၣ်ကိၢ်ဂီၤလၢ အအိၣ်လၢနပူၤသ့ၣ်တဖၣ် ကလဲၤပူၤကွံာ်နၤ ခဲလၢာ်လီၤ. တၢ်တမံၤလၢ်လၢ်လၢ အကဟဲဘၣ်နၤန့ၣ် နတပျံၤဒီးဘၣ်ယိၣ်တၢ်နီတမံၤဘၣ်. ပဘါယွၤလၢအမၤနၢၤ တၢ်သံန့ၣ်လီၤ.” ဒီးအဝဲစံးဆၢက့ၤယၤ “မ့ၢ်လီၤ.”

THE GOD WHO CONQUERED DEATH

Not long ago my cousin and I got together and talked about the changes and new developments that took place in 2020. We tried to relate what is going on with what we read in the Bible. I believe the scriptures are continually being fulfilled one after another. My cousin told me, “Today, I read some verses in the book of Revelation and I did not understand what they all meant. I am so scared. My anxious thoughts take me to a far distance to unknown places.” Then she continued, “A couple verses in Revelation said we would face a time of tribulation so miserable, so hard, and so excruciating that it would feel like the scorpions were biting and stinging us repeatedly with no mercy. We would beg to die, but death would not come.” She paused with a very big sigh and started again, “Even if we will not face this frightening future, our children and grandchildren will probably have to face it. I am worried sick.” I replied, “Cousin, don’t worry. Instead, put your faith firmly in God, pray, live a holy life, and read the Bible diligently. That will give you encouragement and strength. Once the Holy Spirit is alive inside you, your worries will flee and fear will not overcome you. Remember, we worship the God who conquered death.” My cousin responded, “That is so true.”

Are you fearful of and worried about what will happen in the end times?
Have you placed your faith in Christ? Are you prepared?
Prayer
God, thank you for not only the privilege of knowing you, but the gift of the scriptures so we can learn from them and prepare for Your second coming. May we share You with those who do not know You and be a light for the God who conquered death.
