“အဂ့ၢ်ဒ်အံၤ, နဲဒၣ်ယွၤဧၢ, နမ့ၢ်ယတၢ်ပူၤဖျဲးအလီၢ်လီၤ. နပာ်ယတၢ်ထီကတၢၢ်တဂၤန့ၣ်လၢနအိၣ်အလီၢ်လီၤ. တၢ်အၢတဘၣ်ဘၣ်နၤဘၣ်. ဒီးတၢ်သံတတြိာ်တဟဲဘူးဘၣ်ဒီးနဒဲဘၣ်.”

လၢပတၢ်အိၣ်မူအပူၤ, တဘျီဘျီပဘၣ်ကွၢ်ဆၢၣ်မဲာ်ဒီးတၢ်ကီတၢ်ခဲ, တၢ်ကိၢ်တၢ်ဂီၤဒီးတဘျီဘျီပပှဲၤဒီးတၢ်သးခုသး မုာ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. တၢ်ဆၢကတီၢ်ဒ်လဲၣ်, တၢ်အိၣ်သးဒ်လဲၣ်, ပဘၣ်သ့ၣ်ညါလၢပှၤလၢအမၤစၢၤမၤပူၤဖျဲးပှၤအိၣ်ဝဲတဂၤလၢ အမ့ၢ်ဝဲပပၢ်ကစၢ်ယွၤန့ၣ်လီၤ. ဒ် (စံးထီၣ်ပတြၢၤ ၉၁:၉) စံးဝဲအသိး, “အဂ့ၢ်ဒ်အံၤ, နဲဒၣ်ယွၤဧၢ, နမ့ၢ်ယတၢ်ပူၤ ဖျဲးအလီၢ်လီၤ. နပာ်တၢ်ထီကတၢၢ်တဂၤန့ၣ်လၢနအိၣ်အလီၢ်လီၤ” အသိး, မ်ပဝဲလၢအမ့ၢ်ယွၤအဖိမုၣ်ဖိခွါတဖၣ်, ပကကွၢ်ထီၣ်တၢ်ဆူယွၤအအိၣ်ဒီးသ့ၣ်ညါလၢအဝဲမ့ၢ်ပတၢ်ပူၤဖျဲးအလီၢ်န့ၣ်တက့ၢ်. ဒ်စီၤဒၤဝံးအနီၢ်ကစၢ်သ့ၣ်ညါ လၢယွၤမၤစၢၤပူၤဖျဲးအီၤအသိးပဝဲစ့ၢ်ကီးမ်ပကသ့ၣ်ညါထီဘိလၢတၢ်ပူၤဖျဲးအလီၢ်န့ၣ်အိၣ်ဝဲလၢယွၤအပူၤန့ၣ်တက့ၢ်.
တၢ်ဒုးဘၣ်ထွဲက့ၤလံာ်စီဆှံဒီးပတၢ်အိၣ်မူ
လၢတၢ်ကိၢ်တၢ်ဂီၤတၢ်ကီတၢ်ခဲအပူၤ, မ့ၢ်ယသန့ၤယသးလၢယွၤစ့ၢ်ကီးဧါ. ဒီးပှၤလၢအမၤပူၤဖျဲးယၤလၢတၢ်ကီတၢ်ခဲ အပူၤ “ယွၤ” ယကစၢ်မ့ၢ်ယစံးဘျုးစံးဖှိၣ်အီၤထီဘိစ့ၢ်ဧါ. ယွၤမ့ၢ်ပှၤလၢမၤပူၤဖျဲးယၤန့ၣ်မ့ၢ်ယသ့ၣ်ညါစ့ၢ်ကီးဧါ.

GOD IS MY FORTRESS
Bible in a Year: 1 Chronicles 22, 1 Chronicles 23; 1 Corinthians 2:6-16;
Psalm 91:9-16
“The LORD Most High is your fortress. Run to him for safety, and no terrible disasters will strike you or your home.”
Psalm 91:9-10 CEV
Due to the Coronavirus spreading all over the world, including the refugee camp we live in, we cannot come and go and gather in large numbers. Even worshipping together is prohibited. Fear and anxiety overwhelm us because of the coronavirus. During times of fear, my friend and I, who live in the same room, ran a fever, had a sore throat, and got a bad headache. I did not go to the hospital because I was afraid it would be a coronavirus. In facing this anxious time, we cried out to God to instantly heal us. In a few days, I felt better. My friend also felt better. I know that the help of the Lord Most High, our Fortress, cared for us and protected us according to His sovereign will when we felt the weakest. I cannot help but praise God.
In life, we go through hard times as well as joyful times. Whenever it is and whatever we face, we know our Father God keeps us safe and protected. As Psalm 91:9 says, “The Lord Most High is your fortress. Run to him for safety.” We, the children God, must look up to God and know He alone is our ultimate source of protection. Just as David knew where he found safety, let us also remember our Mighty Fortress.
Reflection
In times of worries, do I depend on God, Who is our Fortress? Do I remember to thank God? Do I know Who is my Mighty Fortress?
Prayer
Dear Father God, thank you for protecting me when I face storms in life. May I always depend on You and know You are my Fortress! In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
