GOD IS THE ONE TO GUIDE US
Bible in a Year: 1 Chronicles 28, 1 Chronicles 29; 1 Corinthians 5;
Psalm 93:1-5
“For we are aliens and pilgrims before You,
As were all our fathers;
Our days on earth are as a shadow,
And without hope.”
1 Chronicles 29:15 NKJV
Had it not been for the keeping of the Lord, I would have been destroyed long ago. Although I graduated from Bible school, the time I spent with God was sparse. I did not allow God to rule and direct my life. My life was unfulfilling. I felt weak. During the time I was working in the youth/young adult ministry related to education, I suffered three strokes. It was in 2011, 2014, and 2017. Many thought there was no hope for me.
I begged for God’s mercy to heal me. Miraculously to my astonishment, God was merciful and my health struggles ended. I am now strong as before and full of joy.
Reflection
Do we, children of God, allow Him to direct our lives?
Do we live in God’s will?
Prayer
Dear Father, use me and shape me as You will. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
