လၢပတၢ်အိၣ်မူအပူၤပကထံၣ်ဘၣ်တၢ်လီၢ်အိၣ်ဝဲအါတီၤလၢပအဲၣ်ဒိးလဲၤဘျၢနုာ်လီၤပသးန့ၣ်လီၤ. ဒီးတၢ်လီၢ်လၢပလဲၤ ဘျၢနုာ်လီၤပသးသ့ၣ်တဖၣ်မ့ၢ်ကစၢ်ယွၤအဲၣ်ဝဲဧါ, မ့တမ့ၢ်တအဲၣ်ဝဲဧါန့ၣ်ပတဆိကမိၣ်ထံဒီးသ့ၣ်ညါအီၤဘၣ်. ဘၣ်ဆၣ် လံာ်စီဆှံဒုးသ့ၣ်နီၣ်ထီၣ်က့ၤပှၤလၢ ‘ကစၢ်ယွၤအဲၣ်ဒိးလၢပကအိၣ်ဆိးလၢအဟံၣ်ပူၤန့ၣ်လီၤ.’ ကစၢ်ယွၤအဟံၣ်ပူၤ လၢပကအိၣ်ဆိးအီၤန့ၣ်မ့ၢ်အအိၣ်ဖဲလဲၣ်. နီၢ်နီၢ်တခီတမ့ၢ်ထဲတၢ်အိၣ်ဆိးလၢကစၢ်ယွၤ အတၢ်လုၢ်ဟံၣ်ပူၤတခါဘၣ်. မ့မ့ၢ်တခီတၢ်လီၢ်တတီၤဂ့ၤတတီၤဂ့ၤဖဲနအိၣ်အလီၢ်နမ့ၢ်မၤတၢ်ဘၣ်ယွၤအသး, အိၣ်မူတၢ်အိၣ်မူလၢအမၤလၤကပီၤ ယွၤအတၢ်ဖံးတၢ်မၤန့ၣ်, ပစံးအီၤသ့လၢပအိၣ်လၢကစၢ်ယွၤအဟံၣ်ပူၤန့ၣ်လီၤ.

DWELLING IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD

There are numerous places in which we like to immerse ourselves. We do not necessarily pay attention if the place where we engage ourselves is pleasing to God or not. But the scripture reminds us that God is pleased with and blesses those who dwell in His house. The question then is, “Where is the house of God we can dwell in?” Is it the church? Yes, but more than that, any place where we do things according to God’s will and live a life that glorifies and serves Him is the house of the Lord.
During my childhood, I dwelt in the wrong place that not only did not please God, but also was hated by God. That was a place where I participated in worshipping idols and believed in the power of the evil spirits. I felt my life was controlled by these evil spirits. I was always sick and I had to make offerings to the evil spirits to appease them and heal my sickness. It was a life in the dark that brought no satisfaction no matter what I did. That was the result of dwelling in the wrong place, the house of the devil, instead of the house of the Lord.
However, after I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I began dwelling in the house of the Lord. I started getting involved in the Lord’s ministry. I later became a teacher in the Bible school. Since then, I feel that I am loved by my many students and fellow workers. Although I have nothing financially, I am rich and blessed by God through the teaching ministry. I am also responsible for managing an orphan dormitory of 40 children. I am glad to take care of them, and worship and sing with them. Even though there are many challenges in these ministries, I am able to overcome difficulties because of God’s deliverance and the new heart He planted in me. I can tell you I am dwelling in the house of the Lord.

Dear Jesus Christ, help us to dwell in Your house by reading your word, praying, singing, praising, and serving in Your ministries. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
