ပဝဲလၢအမ့ၢ်ပှၤစူၢ်က့ၤနာ်က့ၤတၢ်တဖၣ်ပသ့ၣ်ညါလၢယွၤန့ၣ်ဒိၣ်ဝဲလီၤ. ယွၤန့ၣ်ဂ့ၤဝဲလီၤ. ဘၣ်ဆၣ်အါစုအါဘျီပသး ပ့ၤနီၣ်က့ၤယွၤန့ၣ်ဒိၣ်ဒီးယွၤန့ၣ်ဂ့ၤဝဲဒၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. တၢ်လၢပဘၣ်ကွၢ်ဆၢၣ်မဲာ်တဖၣ်မ့ၢ်ဂ့ၤ, တၢ်လၢအတၤတၢ်ဒီ; ပှၤတဖၣ်မ့ၢ်ဂ့ၤ, ဖျါဒိၣ်ဝဲအါန့ၢ်ဒံးယွၤအဃိန့ၣ်လီၤ.
တဘျီ ပှၤဒီဖိပၢ်ခံဂၤလဲၤတၢ်လၢသိလ့ၣ်အခါ, အဖိခွါတဂၤ သံကွၢ်အပၢ်, ‘‘ပါဧၢတၢ်လၢကစၢ်ယွၤန့ၣ်ဒိၣ်ထဲလဲၣ်,’’ ဖဲန့ၣ်အပၢ်ဒုးနဲၣ်အီၤလၢကဘီယူၤလၢအယူၤလၢမူခိၣ်တဘ့ၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ဖဲန့ၣ်အပၢ်သံကွၢ်အီၤ, ‘‘ကဘီယူၤအဝဲန့ၣ် ဒိၣ်ထဲလဲၣ်.’’ ဖဲန့ၣ်အဖိခွါတဲဆၢအီၤ ‘‘မ့ၢ်ဒၣ်ဆံးဆံးဖိတဘ့ၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ.’’ ဖဲန့ၣ် လဲၤကဒီးတၢ်တစိၢ်ဖိဝံၤ လဲၤတုၤလၢ ကဘီယူၤပျီဒီးအပၢ်ဒုးနဲၣ်အီၤလၢကဘီယူၤတဘ့ၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ဖဲန့ၣ်အပါသံကွၢ်အီၤ, ‘‘ကဘီယူၤလၢအယူၤလၢ တၢ်ဖးဖီတဘ့ၣ်ဒီးကဘီယူၤခဲအံၤတဘ့ၣ်န့ၣ်အလီၤဆီဒ်လဲၣ်, အဖိခွါတဲဘၣ်အပၢ်, ‘‘ကဘီယူၤတဘ့ၣ်အံၤ ဒိၣ်န့ၢ်လၢအယူၤလၢမူခိၣ်တဘ့ၣ်န့ၣ်တက့ၢ်လီၤ.’’ ဖဲန့ၣ်အပၢ်တဲဘၣ်အီၤ, ‘‘ကဘီယူၤလၢအယူၤလၢမူခိၣ် တဘ့ၣ်န့ၣ်ဒီးကဘီယူၤတဘ့ၣ်အံၤမ့ၢ်တၢ်ထဲသိးသိးလီၤ.’’ တၢ်မၤအသးဒီးပှၤဒ်န့ၣ်အိၣ်ဝဲဒၣ်လီၤ. ဖဲပအိၣ်ယံၤဒီး ယွၤအကတီၢ်န့ၣ်ပကထံၣ်လၢတၢ်လၢအတၤဒီးပှၤတဖၣ်န့ၣ်ဒိၣ်န့ၢ်ဒံးကစၢ်ယွၤန့ၣ်တက့ၢ်လီၤ.

GOD IS BIG
Bible in a Year: Amos 5; Romans 4:1-15; Psalm 86:1-10
“Seek the Lord and live.”
Amos 5:6a NIV
Those of us believers know God is big. God is great. God is good. However, often we tend to forget God is big and God is good. Tough experiences that we have to face or challenges that stand before us often seem bigger than God.
Once, a father and a son went on a drive. The son asked the father, “How big is God?” The father then pointed to an airplane flying in the sky. The father asked the son, “How big is that plane?” The son answered, “It is little.” They kept on going and then arrived at the airport. The father again pointed to an airplane on the ground and asked, “How is this plane compared to the plane in the sky?” The son replied, “This one is way bigger than the flying airplane.” The father explained to the son, “Son, both airplanes are the same size.” What happens in this story resembles how we view God. When we are far away from God, we will see that our problems and challenges are bigger than God.
In 1 Samuel 17:11-13, King Saul or the Israelites or David’s three brothers were worried and afraid. They were far from God and the challenge before them was bigger than God. David, on the other hand, was close to God and he saw that God was bigger than the enemy. That was why David had no fear and killed Goliath. Just like David, let us stay close to God and we will have the view from a front-row seat that God is bigger than our troubles and challenges.
Reflection
Today, what kinds of fear are threatening you? Are these challenges bigger than God?
Prayer
God, please help us to see that the challenges we face today are not bigger than You. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
