GOD CALLS US ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE

Once we lived in our own country under the rule of the government unlike that of developed countries, but we were able to live and eat reasonably. We did not have to worry about rent and paying bills. At the time when there was discord among our leaders and combat fatigue by the revolutionary troops, the Burmese enemy advanced and seized our territory. As a result, we were dispersed to another country called Thailand and had to live in distress. However, when we least expected it, we received the opportunity to relocate to a third country. I also never thought I would get to be a part of Arizona Karen Baptist Church, a church formed by many from diverse regions coming together. Although we come from different places, we gather as one and it is a very pleasant experience. Our church as the body of Christ does not forget to fulfill the needs of the church as well as our people back home. We always hear the cries of our people left behind. We know the pain they are going through. I cannot express how much joy it brings me that we are able to help our people back home. The Lord has done great things for us and we are joyful. My dear Karen brothers and sisters, there are many of our people who do not know the God who died and rose from death. Therefore, it is my duty and your duty to shine the light for them so they may know the path to the truth.
Reflection
Going through one experience after another is a part of life on earth. We cannot just stay constant in one place. How would we respond to changes in life?
Prayer
Dear God, I thank you for giving me the heart to love my neighbors. Please help us to love and fear You so we will live to glorify You. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
