PRAISE GOD IN ALL THINGS

God is omnipotent. All riches, wisdom, and glory belong to God. In heaven or on earth, there is no one like God. Only God is absolute perfection in everything, lacking in nothing. Let us try to understand how God is perfect!
(1) God is perfect with all the riches (Haggai 2:8) – God says the silver and the gold are His. Everything is created by God and therefore everything belongs to God. Where can we find someone richer than God?
(2) God is perfect with planning (Genesis 1, 2) – God made everything and His plan for creation is perfect. There is no mistake in God’s plan. God has made no mistakes in His creation of humans. His ability to do all things and comprehend all matters prevents Him from making mistakes. God is truly amazing.
(3) God is perfect with knowledge (Psalm 139:1-6; Isaiah 55:8-9) – God’s perfect knowledge is too wonderful for humans to understand. His wisdom is too lofty and far above us to fathom. All-encompassing knowledge resides in God alone.
God is also perfectly generous with grace and compassion for those who believe in Him. Everything is under God’s control and He has a prepared heavenly place for us who put our trust in Him. Let us continually praise God forever and ever!
Reflection
Have you ever felt disappointed because you could not understand God and His plan? As believers, what do we need to do to rest in God rather than our own knowledge and plan?

Dear God, thank you for making us your children. Guide to praise You in all things. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
