‘‘ဒီးစီၤပ့းတရူးသ့ၣ်ညါထီၣ်က့ၤအသးဒီးစံးဝဲဒၣ်, ခဲကနံၣ်အံၤ, ယသ့ၣ်ညါနီၢ်နီၢ်လၢကစၢ်မၢလီၤအကလူးအံၤ, ဒီးမၤပူၤဖျဲးယၤလၢစီၤဟ့ၤရိာ်အစုပူၤ, ဒီးပှၤယူဒၤဖိအတၢ်ကွၢ်လၢ်ခဲလၢာ်အပူၤလီၤ.’’

ပမ့ၢ်ကွၢ်က့ၤလံာ်စီဆှံတဆၢအံၤပကထံၣ်ဘၣ်လၢ ယွၤမၤတၢ်လီၤလးလၢစီၤပ့းတရူးအဂီၢ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. စီးပ့းတရူးမ့ၢ်ပှၤ တဂၤ လၢအဒိကနၣ်ယွၤအကလုၢ်, ဒီးမ့ၢ်ပှၤမၤယွၤအတၢ်မၤတဂၤန့ၣ်လီၤ. ဖဲအဝဲလီၤဘၣ်လၢဃိာ်ပူၤအဆၢကတီၢ်, ဘၣ်တနၤန့ၣ်, စီးပ့းတရူးဘၣ်တၢ်စၢဃာ်အီၤဒီးထးသွဲခံဘိ, ဒီးမံသပ့ၤဝဲလၢသုးဖိခံဂၤအဘၢၣ်စၢၤ, ဒီးပှၤပၢၤတၢ်လၢ ဃိာ်အခီၣ်ထံးန့ၣ်ပၢၤတၢ်လီၤ. ယွၤအကလူးတဂၤအိၣ်ဖျါထီၣ်, မၤကပီၤထီၣ်ဃိာ်ပူၤ, ဒီးတီၢ်အကပၤဒ်သိးကဒုးဂဲၤ ဆၢထၢၣ်အီၤချ့ချ့, ဒီးဃ့ၣ်လီၤကွံာ်ထးသွဲလၢအစုလိၤလီၤ. ကလူးစံးဘၣ်အီၤ, ‘‘ကံၢ်တူာ်ထီၣ်နသး, ဒီးသိးထီၣ်နခီၣ်ဖံး တက့ၢ်. ကၤထီၣ်နယၣ်ဒီးပိာ်ယခံတက့ၢ်.’’ ဒီးစီၤပ့းတရူးမၤဝဲဒ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ဃိာ်ဒိၣ်အတြဲၤအိးထီၣ်အသးတဘျီဃီဖဲန့ၣ် ကလူးမၢအဟးထီၣ်ကွံာ်ဆူတၢ်အချၢဒီးမၢအလဲၤဆူတၢ်လီၢ်အဂၤန့ၣ်လီၤ. စီၤပ့းတရူးသ့ၣ်ညါနီၢ်နီၢ် လၢယွၤမၤပူၤဖျဲးအီၤ လၢတၢ်သံအကဒုကစၢၢ်ကဆူးအပူၤ ခီဖျိလၢယွၤမၤတၢ်လီၤလးလၢအဂီၢ်န့ၣ်လီၤ.

GOD IS OUR HELPER

When Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I truly know that the Lord has sent out his angel and delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from everything the Jewish people were expecting.”

When we look at this Bible verse, we understand that God did a miracle for Peter. Peter was a person who listened to God and carried out the work of God. When he was in jail, Peter was bound by two chains, sleeping between two guards, while other guards stood at the entrance. God’s angel appeared and a light shone in the prison cell. The angel struck Peter on his side to wake him up and removed the chains from his hands. The angel told him, “ Get dressed and put on your sandals. Put on your cloak and follow me.” Peter did as he was instructed. The prison door opened and the angel told him to get out of the prison and go to another place. Then Peter realized that God delivered him from the valley of the shadow of death through God’s miracle for him.
When I was eight years old, my friends and I went to the river for a bath. I went to the deeper part of the river and started to drown. My friends did not help; they all ran away. When I was trying to grasp things around to get hold of, I felt a tree branch and escaped from death. The miracle God did for Peter, He also did it for me. I know it for a fact that God delivered me from the valley of the shadow of death through the miracle he did for me.
Reflection
Fervent prayer is the lifeline and channel of help for us believers.

Dear Father God, thank You for being a living One and there is nothing You cannot do for us. May You bless us, care for us, and help us in the days to come! We humbly request You to forgive our sins and fulfill our needs. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
