‘‘အုၣ်က့ၤခီၣ်က့ၤယၤတက့ၢ်, ယွၤဧၢ, အဂ့ၢ်ဒ်အံၤ, ထံတဖၣ်န့ၣ်ဟဲနုာ်ပၢၢ်လၢယသးလီၤ. ယလီၤဘျၢလၢ ကပံာ်ယိာ်အကျါ, ဒီးဆၢထၢၣ်အလီၢ်တအိၣ်ဘၣ်. ယဟဲနုာ်လၢထံယိာ်အကျါ, ဒီးထံလုၢ်ဘၢယၤလီၤ.’’

(၂) ယမ့ၢ်ပှၤလၢ လဲၤထီၣ်လဲၤထီ, ဂုၤထီၣ်ပသီထီၣ်, ဒိၣ်ထီၣ်ထီထီၣ်တဂၤ. (၃) ယမ့ၢ်ပှၤဒိၣ်ကတၢၢ်, အလီၢ်အလၤဒိၣ်ကတၢၢ်လၢပှၤအိၣ် ခိၣ်ဃၢၤဝးတရံးယၤသ့ၣ်တဖၣ်. A FOOL

“Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck! I sink in a deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.”

There are many who devote all their time to seeking money, wealth, and education so they will feel fulfilled. These people try to fill the hole in their hearts with money, position, and high learning. God, on the other hand, is not the most important to them. They have no time to spend with God. They think fortune, worldly wisdom, and status will be the foothold on which they stand and these will bring joy, security, and peace to them. When introducing one another, the question of who they are is answered with the emphasis around – (1) I am wealthy; (2) I strive for excellence and growth; (3) I have power and status in my circle; and (4) I am a doctor having earned the highest education. If you ask God who they are, the answer will be they are fools. Remember the Parable of the Rich Fool (Luke 12:13-21). You do not know the time you have on earth. No matter what you are on earth, in heaven we will enjoy equality. We must remember, “For Yaweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.” When our priority for God is low and our reliance on wealth and worldly wisdom is more, we will have no foothold sinking in deep mire and we can drown in the deep waters. 1 Corinthians 3:18-19 reads, “Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God…”
