PONDER THE WONDER OF GOD

In November 2013, my son started having seizures. The doctor prescribed Lamotrigine 20 mg, two times a day, two pills each time, for him. I asked the doctor if the disease would be fully cured if he took the medicine. The doctor said that the medicine would only decrease the symptoms but the disease would not be cured. So I decided not to give him the medicine. I knelt down and prayed. Many prayed for him too. The disease did not go away, but increased instead. So, I started giving him the medicine in January 2015 only in the evening and not in the morning. I never stopped praying. I told God I would testify of His goodness if my son was healed. Later, we relocated and found a new doctor. To make the story short, the new doctor cared for my son and he took the medicine until February 2019. In a check-up appointment, the doctor told us that my son no longer needed to take the medicine. The disease would go away as he grew. Since then, he needed no follow-up appointment. It has been a year and a half. He is cured. This is a miracle from God. One doctor said he would never be cured and the other said he would be cured. The work of God is always wondrous and we need to seek to recognize and appreciate it. May God bless you and make you see and ponder His wonders. May you share His wonders with others!
Reflection
From what illness do you need God to heal you? God desires that we are healthy physically and spiritually. God wants to cure us from all illnesses that harm us.
Prayer
Dear God, You are the Almighty God Who has victory over all things. May we not waiver. May we abide securely in You and put our trust fully in You. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
