‘‘ဒီးစံးဝဲဒၣ်, ယွၤအံၣ်စရ့လးအကစၢ်ဧၢ, လၢမူခိၣ်ထးဒီးလၢဟီၣ်ခိၣ်လာ်, ကစၢ်ဒ်နၤအသိးန့ၣ်တအိၣ်ဘၣ်. လၢအတိၢ်န့ၢ်တၢ်အၢၣ်လီၤအီလီၤဒီးတၢ်ဘျုးတၢ်ဖှိၣ်ဒီးနခ့နပှၤလၢအလဲၤတၢ်လၢနမဲာ်ညါဒီးအသးဒီးဖျၢၣ်ညါ,’’

ပှၤဟီၣ်ခိၣ်ဖိတဖၣ်အိၣ်ဒံးဝဲအါမးလၢတသ့ၣ်ညါဒံးကစၢ်အမ့ၢ်အတီ, ဒီးတဘူၣ်ထီၣ်ဘါထီၣ်ဝဲဘၣ်အိၣ်အါမးလီၤ. မ့မ့ၢ်စီၤၡလိၤမိၤသ့ၣ်ညါယွၤဒ်ကစၢ်အမ့ၢ်အတီအဃိ အဝဲဒၣ်ဃ့ဘါထုကဖၣ်ဒီးစံးဝဲဒၣ်, လၢမူခိၣ်ထးမ့ၢ်ဂ့ၤ လၢဟီၣ်ခိၣ်လာ်မ့ၢ်ဂ့ၤ, ကစၢ်ယွၤဒ်နၤအသိးန့ၣ်တအိၣ်ဘၣ်. စီၤၡလိၤမိၤအၢၣ်လီၤဝဲလၢ, ကစၢ်အဂုၤအဂၤလၢ ကလီၤဂာ်ဒီးယွၤပကစၢ်အံၤတအိၣ် နီတဂၤဘၣ်. ပဝဲယွၤအပှၤဂီၢ်မုၢ်တဖၣ်န့ၣ်ပဘၣ်တၢ်ထိၣ်သတြီၤပှၤဒီး တၢ်ဘၣ်တ့အဖုၣ်တဖၣ်, ဖဲ (ဝံယၡါယၤ ၁:၃) န့ၣ် စံးဝဲဒၣ်, ‘‘ဂီၤဘုၣ်ဂီၤဖံးသ့ၣ်ညါအကစၢ်ဒီး ကသ့ၣ်ယီၤ အကစၢ်န့ၣ် ဒုးအီၣ်အဆၣ်ကျိးလီၤ. မ့မ့ၢ်အံၣ်စရ့လးတသ့ၣ်ညါဘၣ်, ယပှၤဂီၢ်မုၢ်တဆိကမိၣ်ဘၣ်ဝဲဘၣ်.’’
ဖဲယအိၣ်လံာ်စီဆှံကၠိအခါယလဲၤပိာ်ယသကိးမုၣ်တဂၤအခံဆူအသဝီဒီးပၣ်ဃုာ် စ့ၢ်ကီးဒီးအဖါတံၢ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ပဘၣ်ဒိး စဲးချံဒီးချံန့ၣ်အိၣ်ခံဘ့ၣ်, အဒိၣ်တဘ့ၣ်ဒီးအဆံးတဘ့ၣ်လီၤ. အဒိၣ်တဘ့ၣ်န့ၣ်လီၢ်လံၤ ဒီးပဒိးတဘူၣ်ဘၣ်. ဒီးလဲၤတၢ် စ့ၢ်ကီးဃၢလီၤ. မ့မ့ၢ်အဆံးတဘ့ၣ်န့ၣ်ဆံးဒီးလဲၤတၢ်ချ့အဃိ ပဆိကမိၣ်လၢကြၢးလၢ ပကဃုထၢအီၤလီၤ. ဖဲန့ၣ်ဖါတံၢ်စံးဘၣ် အဖိဒိၣ်မုၣ်, ‘‘ပကဒိးလၢအဒိၣ်တဘ့ၣ်.’’ မ့မ့ၢ်အဖိဒိၣ်မုၣ်တခီစံးဝဲလၢ, ‘‘ပကဒိးလၢအဆံးတဘ့ၣ် လဲၤတၢ်ချ့ဒီးကတုၤဆိတစဲး, ပမ့ၢ်ဒိးလၢအဒိၣ်တဘ့ၣ်ပကက့ၤတုၤစဲၤခံ, ပဘၣ်က့ၤခီစံာ်ပျီဒီးပကလီၤဘှံးလီၤတီၤ လီၤ.’’ ဖဲန့ၣ်ဖါတံၢ်စံးဘၣ်အီၤ, ‘‘ချံလၢနကဒိးတဘ့ၣ်န့ၣ် လဲၤတၢ်ချ့ဘၣ်ဆၣ် ဆံးအဃိမ့ၢ်ဘၣ်လၢလပီဖးဒိၣ်န့ၣ် ကဲထီၣ်တၢ်ကီတၢ်ခဲသ့ဝဲလီၤ.’’ အဖိဒိၣ်မုၣ်စံးဘၣ်အီၤ, ‘‘တံဧၢ, ဘၣ်ယိၣ်တဂ့ၤကစၢ်ယွၤလဲၤတၢ်ဒီးပှၤလီၤ.’’ ဖဲန့ၣ်အဖါတံၢ် စံးဆၢအီၤလၢတၢ်သးဒိၣ်အပူၤ, ‘‘အၢၣ်, နၤဒီးနကစၢ်ယွၤန့ၣ်, နာ်နကစၢ်ယွၤန့ၣ်’’ လီၤ. ဖဲန့ၣ် ယသကိးမုၣ်ကွၢ်ယၤလၢ တၢ်သးတမုာ်အပူၤဒီးစံးဝဲ, ‘‘ယဖါတံၢ်တဂၤဟးတဲကြီတၢ်မနုၤလဲၣ်. တၢ်ပာ်ကဲတအိၣ်ဘၣ်. ယသးတမုာ်ဘၣ်.’’ ဒီးဖဲန့ၣ်ယစံးဘၣ်အီၤလၢ, ‘‘နဖါတံၢ်အသးဆူၣ်ဒိးတဘ့ၣ် န့ၣ်ပကဒိးလီၤ.’’ ဒီးပဒိးထီၣ်စဲးချံလၢ အဒိၣ်တဘ့ၣ်ဒီးခီဖျိအလဲၤတၢ်ဃၢအဃိ ပက့ၤတုၤ လၢချံသန့ဖဲမုၢ်နၤခီအနၣ်ရံၣ်တဆံ, ဒီးပဘၣ်က့ၤခီစံာ်ပျီ လၢတၢ်ခံးတၢ်နၤအကျါ, ဒီးခီဖျိမူခိၣ်စူၤအဃိပဘၣ်အၢထဲကပံာ် လီၤ. ဖဲပက့ၤတုၤလၢဟံၣ်န့ၣ် ပကွၢ်ဖါတံၢ်တဂၤ ဘၣ်အၢထဲကပံာ်ဒီတဂၤညါ, ဒီးအဝဲဒၣ်ကတိၤတၢ်တကဲလၢၤဘၣ်. အဖိဒိၣ်မုၣ်တဲအီၤ ‘‘ယတဲနၤကစီဒီ, နတဒိကနၣ် ယၤဘၣ်အဃိနလီၤဘှံးလီၤတီၤ ခဲအံၤနသ့ၣ်ညါဘၣ်လံဧါ.’’ ယွၤဒ်သိးပကစၢ်ယွၤတအိၣ်နီတဂၤဘၣ်. အလီၢ်အိၣ်လၢ ပကသ့ၣ်ညါပာ်ကဲအီၤ ကိးဆၢကိးကတီၢ်ဒဲးန့ၣ်လီၤ.

THERE IS NONE LIKE GOD

“And he said, “Yahweh, the God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath; who keeps covenant and loving kindness with your servants, who walk before you with all their heart;”

There are many on earth who do not know the true God. But, King Solomon knew the true God and praised Him by saying there is no God like Him in heaven above or on earth beneath. Yet, the people of the Lord were so foolish that Isaiah 1:3 had to mention this hard fact: “The ox knows his owner and the donkey his master’s crib; but Israel doesn’t know. My people don’t understand.”
When I was in Bible school, I visited my friend’s village with her and her uncle. At the jetty, there were two powerboats, one big and the other small, for us to ride to the village. The big powerboat was old and slow. We were afraid to get on it. The small powerboat was fast, so we thought we would choose to ride on that one. But, the uncle said, “We would go with the big one,” to which his niece replied, “Let’s go with the small one so we will get to the village faster. Otherwise, we will get there late and exhausted since we also need to walk across a farm.” The uncle then told us, “The small powerboat is fast but it can create problems in big waves.” My friend retorted, “Uncle, don’t worry. God will go with us.” Her uncle got angry and said, “Sure, you and your God, just believe in your God!” My friend looked at me in sadness murmuring “Why does my uncle talk like that. It is so disrespectful. It makes me so sad.” I suggested to her to just ride on the one her uncle picked. The boat was so slow that by the time we reached the shore, it was already 10:30 PM at night. When we walked across a farm, it started raining. We were all wet and muddy. When we got home, uncle was all wet and dirty and could not talk anymore. His niece then said, “I told you so. You didn’t listen to me and now you are dead tired. Now you know!” There is no one like God. It is absolutely imperative that we know God and respect Him in any situation at all times.
Reflection
There are many ways in which we can forget to respect God.
In which times is it easier for you to forget to respect God?
Prayer
Dear Father, there is no other God like You. Thank you for allowing me to know You. Help us so we will always respect and honor You at all times. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
