CAST YOUR BURDEN ON GOD

In 2017, I was diagnosed with cancer. I did not have Medicare health insurance to seek treatment. I prayed to God, “Please heal me. The healing power is with you. I put my life in your hands.” I did not pray to get Medicare for treatment.
However, God provided for me and I qualified for Medicare coverage. The cost of treatment was absolutely frightening. I do not know how much the surgery cost, but I know the injections that I had to take for one year cost $10,000 for each shot. After getting injections for three months, I also had to take prescription pills for a year, a total of 12 bottles of pills. Each bottle cost $100. As frightening as the cost of my treatment was, I did not have to pay a dollar. I thank God for providing me with the Medicare coverage for my treatment. Above all, I am grateful to God for completely curing me from cancer.
Reflection
Who do we depend on or what do we pray for when we face an illness? Whenever we face any kind of trouble, let us cast our troubles on God. He is the merciful God who is for us and He will help us.

Heavenly Father, we gladly praise You for giving us life and fulfilling our needs. We put our lifetime ahead and events that will unfold in your hands. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
