ယွၤစံးဝဲစ့ၢ်ကီး သုလုၢ်ထီၣ်ယၤလၢတၢ်အက့ၢ်အဂီၤလၢအတလၢတပှဲၤဘၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ဖဲပလုၢ်ထီၣ်တၢ်လၢကစၢ်ယွၤ, ပဟ့ၣ်တၢ်မၤဘူၣ်မၤတီၢ်, ပစံးဘျုးစံးထီၣ်ပတြၢၤကစၢ်ယွၤ, သ့ၣ်တဖၣ်အခါ ပတမၤအီၤလၢပသးဒီဖျၢၣ်ဘၣ်. အိၣ်ဒၣ်ထဲပမၤဝံၤတၢ်မၤ, ထဲကဖျါဃံဖျါလၤလၢ ပှၤဟီၣ်ခိၣ်ဖိအမဲာ်ညါလၢ တၢ်တဘၣ်ယွၤအသးသ့ၣ်တဖၣ်လီၤ.

ယွၤစံးဝဲဒၣ် တၢ်ဂ့ၢ်တဖၣ်အံၤ ပမ့ၢ်တဆိကမိၣ်ကွၢ်ထံဘၣ်ဒီး ဖဲ မၤလကံ ၂ အပူၤ, ယွၤစံးဝဲဒၣ် ယကဆိၣ်အၢ သုလီၤ. ယွၤအခ့အပှၤသ့ၣ်တဖၣ် ကဘၣ်မၤအပျ့ၤလၢတၢ်သ့ၣ်ညါ ခီဖျိလၢအဝဲသ့ၣ်မ့ၢ်ယွၤ အကလူးအဃိလီၤ.

ပမ့ၢ်တဆိကမိၣ်ထံဘှီဘၣ်က့ၤတၢ်သ့ၣ်တဖၣ်အံၤဘၣ်ဒီး, လီၣ်ဖျါ ၆ အပူၤ, ပာ်ဖျါဝဲ တၢ်လၢပကဘၣ်ကွၢ်ဆၢၣ်မဲာ် တုၤဒၣ်လဲာ်, ပကမၢကစၢၢ်ကလိသ့ၣ်တဖၣ်ကးဘၢကွံာ်ပှၤ, ဒ်သိးပကပူၤဖျဲးလၢယွၤအမဲာ်ညါလီၤ. ကျဲတဘိလၢ ပကပူၤဖျဲးအဂီၢ် ပကဘၣ်ဃ့ဘါထုကဖၣ်သပှၢ်တၢၢ်န့ၣ်လီၤ.

EXAMINE YOUR WORK AND DO GOD’S WILL

Bible in a Year: Malachi 1, Malachi 2:1-16; Revelation 6; Psalm 143:1-12

The Bible tells us that God has loved us. We might wonder how God has loved us. We experienced hardship, walked in the shadow of death, and bore so many temptations from the devil to the point where we wanted to end our own lives. Sometimes we wonder why these things had to happen. According to Malachi 1:6, God said we also have despised His Name. We wonder how we have despised God’s Name. We offered unclean sacrifices and sometimes our mouth uttered profanity, which became a stumbling block for those who heard us. God also heard us and it was the same as making filthy offerings to God. 

God also said we made defective offerings. When we presented God with gifts, made contributions, and praised Him, we did not really offer our whole hearts to Him. Instead, we just conducted a perfunctory ritual that looked good in the sight of humans but failed to please God. God wants us to examine our deeds and failing to do so would bring curses as described in Malachi 2. The tongue of the Lord’s disciples must bring glory to Him because they are also the Lord’s angels. 

If we do not examine and mend our ways, Revelation 6 warns us that we will wish for the mountains to fall upon us just so we can escape the wrath of God. One way for deliverance is to fervently and continually pray to God.

Reflection

Because we know God has loved us and will continue to love us, do we honor God more or less?

Prayer

Dear Father , thank you for loving us, forgiving us, and redeeming us with Your blood so we can become Your children. Help us to live a life that pleases God and become a good example to others. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
