NO DOUBT IN GOD

The Bible verse reminds me of my experience in 2011 December while I was in the final year at the seminary. God touched my heart to lead my fellow friends on a mission trip. Twenty five of us got ready for the trip and many friends contributed both cash, clothes, food, and candies to hand out. But, when we were about to leave, we got news that we could not go anymore because the people were afraid to host us. Some of us became doubtful. We prayed to God and decided we would go no matter what. Once we got to our destination, the villagers accepted us with joy and took us to one village after another. We got to visit a total of 27 villages. They fed us. They were very happy and we were also very happy because we got to share the word of God with them. We got an opportunity to present a Christmas pageant, singing, and other activities. When facing challenges and temptations in the ministry, let us not become doubtful of the Lord. After overcoming temptations, we will find satisfaction followed by blessings.
Reflection
Temptations can be invitations to grow in faith and the knowledge of Christ. Is there any doubt inviting you to refuse temptations and take a step forward in order to help you grow in faith and the knowledge of Christ. What is that step?
Prayer
Dear God, I thank you for not abandoning me in times of trouble. Help us to go forward with faith in you and to overcome temptations that come our way. Father, please forgive us and use us as You will. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
