‘‘ကနၣ်ယကလုၢ်တက့ၢ်, ယၤကိာ်အပှၤဟံၣ်ဖိ, ဒီးကယဲၢ်ပှၤလၢအအိၣ်လီၤတဲာ်လၢအံၣ်စရ့လးအပှၤဟံၣ်ဖိခဲလၢာ်, ပှၤလၢယစိာ်အီၤလၢပှၤအဟၢဖၢပူၤလံၤလံၤ, လၢအဘၣ်တၢ်စိာ်အီၤလၢအမိၢ်ဒၢလီၢ်လံၤလံၤသ့ၣ်ဧၢ, ဒီးယမ့ၢ်အဝဲဒၣ်တုၤလီၤသုသးပှၢ်, ဒီးတုၤသုခိၣ်ဝါ, ယကစိာ်သုလီၤ. ယဲဒၣ်ယမၤတ့ၢ်, ဒီးယကစိာ်တၢ်, မ့ၢ်မးယကဝံတၢ်ယိးတၢ်ဒီးယကမၤပူၤဖျဲးတၢ်လီၤ.’’

အပူၤကွံာ်အနံၣ် ၂၀ န့ၣ်, ယအိၣ်ဒီးတၢ်ဆါကစဲးကစိးအကျးဖိတဖျၢၣ်လၢဟံၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ယဘၣ်လဲၤဟံးန့ၢ်တၢ်ဖိ တၢ်လံၤ, ဒ်အမ့ၢ်တၢ်အီၣ်တၢ်အီ, တၢ်သူတၢ်စွဲ လၢဟံၣ်အဂီၢ်တဖၣ် လၢဝ့ၢ်တကူၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ယဘၣ်ဟဲက့ၤစိာ်တၢ် ဃၢဒိၣ်မးလီၤ. ယဝံလၢ ယပျိၢ်တခီ, ယစိာ်တၢ်ဖိတၢ်လံၤလၢယစုခံခီအပှဲၤလီၤ. ယဟံၣ်န့ၣ်အိၣ်လၢတၢ်လူၢ်ဒီခိၣ်စီၤစုၤ ဒီးကျဲမုၢ်အဃိ ယဘၣ်က့ၤစိာ်တၢ်ဃၢဒိၣ်မးလီၤ. ဘၣ်ဆၣ်ယဖိခွါမ့ၢ်ဟဲအိၣ်ယၤဒီး ယဟ့ၣ်လီၤတၢ်ဖိတၢ်လံၤအဃၢ တဖၣ်ဒီး ယတၢ်ဝံတၢ်ယိးတဖၣ်ဖှံထီၣ်ဝဲလီၤ. ပတၢ်အိၣ်မူပူၤစ့ၢ်ကီးပအိၣ်ဒီးတၢ်ဝံတၢ်ယိးအဃၢတဖၣ်တုၤဒၣ်လဲာ် ပစုကတၢၢ်ကွံာ်ခီၣ်ကတၢၢ်ကွံာ်သ့န့ၣ်လီၤ, ကစၢ်ယွၤစံးဝဲ, ‘‘မ့ၢ်မးယကဝံတၢ်ယိးတၢ်ဒီးယကမၤပူၤဖျဲးတၢ်လီၤ.’’

HELP COMES FROM GOD

that have been carried from their birth, that have been carried from the womb.
Even to old age I am he,  and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear.

We may not live for a hundred years, yet we might face a hundred hardships. Nowadays, we are in a difficult time. The most recent one was what happened in the year 2020. The whole world is faced with the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people faced death, lockdown, loss of business, unemployment, and financial instability. This created all kinds of hardships and burdens to bring food to the table everyday. We want to be out of these hardships. When David was chased by King Saul for his life, and when his son Absalom revolted against him, he was in trouble. He prayed to God because he knew God was the one who could help him (Psalm 108:12) “Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.”  In times of trouble, if we pray to God He will give us the strength we need and we will have victory over these perils. 

Twenty years ago, I ran a mini-store at my house. I had to shop for stocks, such as food and household items, from Yangon. After purchasing the items, I returned to my store carrying heavy loads. I carried some of them on my back and the rest with my hands. My house was on a hillside some distance from the main road. It was a very tiresome trip for me. But when my son came to meet me and took some loads, I felt immediately lighter. Similarly, in our lives, we have heavy burdens that could leave us feeling helpless. But, God says, “Yes, I will carry you and deliver you.”

Reflection

What burdens are heavy for you? 
Let us bring our heavy burdens to the Lord Who shares our load of trouble.

Prayer

Dear Father God in heaven, we thank you for helping us carry our burdens and delivering us. Help us to cast our cares on you.  In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
