PRAISE GOD FOR BLESSING YOU

Praising God should be our main purpose in life. God’s blessings in our lives are incalculable. Just as Psalm 107:1 says, God’s loving kindness endures forever. Therefore, praising God is a loving response that honors and pleases Him. I can testify that God has been faithful to me and He provides for me time after time.

I would like to share with you a testimony of a young man that was an absolute inspiration for me. I served in the care and counseling department, which gave me the opportunity to care for orphans under our convention. This young man was just a child when he arrived in the orphanage. He not only had a place to stay, but also got to go to school even in Pathein City. One day I had a conversation with him and he said, “I am thankful I went through the Nargis Cyclone that took the lives of my mother, father, and some of my siblings. Because of God’s grace, I get to live in a caring place and study in school. This is indeed God blessing me and showing kindness to me.” This young man endured the worst experiences and yet he has the most grateful heart. Let us also have a thankful heart not only when things are going well for us, but in hardship may we try our very best to praise God.
