 “ဒီးလၢမုၢ်တနံၤန့ၣ်, ယွၤကပာ်ဖှိၣ်က့ၤအပှၤဂီၢ်မုၢ်တဂၤဘၣ်တဂၤစးထီၣ်လၢထံကျိဖရၤသး တုၤဆူကီၢ်အဲၤကူပတူးအကီၢ်ဆၢ, လီၤဂာ်ဒ်ပှၤတဂၤနီၤဖးဝဲဘုကၠူၣ်ဒီးအဖ့အသိးန့ၣ်လီၤ.”

(၂၀၁၉-၂၀၂၀) နံၣ်အတၢ်ကွၢ်ဆၢၣ်မဲာ် (Covid-19) တၢ်မၤအသးတခါအံၤအဖီခိၣ် ပကထံၣ်ဘၣ်ဒီးဒိးန့ၢ်ဘၣ် တၢ်မၤလိအါမံၤစ့ၢ်ကီးန့ၣ်လီၤ. တၢ်ကတိၤလၢအမ့ၢ် (Lockdown) ‘‘ကးတံာ်’’ အံၤန့ၣ်ကဲထီၣ်တၢ်ကတိၤတဖျၢၣ်လၢ (Popular) န့ၣ်လီၤ.  တၢ်ကးတံာ်ဃာ်ဟံၣ်အပဲတြီ, သရိာ်အပဲတြီသ့ၣ်တဖၣ်ဘၣ်ဆၣ် ပသးအတၢ်လုၢ်ဟံၣ်အပဲတြီ န့ၣ်, ထံကီၢ်ခိၣ်နၢ်တဖၣ် ကးတံာ်ဃာ်ဝဲတသ့ဘၣ်. ဘၣ်ဆၣ်ပဝဲတနီၤပကးတံာ်ဃာ်ပသး အတၢ်လုၢ်ဟံၣ်ပဲတြီလၢ ပနီၢ်ကစၢ်ဒၣ်ပဝဲန့ၣ်လီၤ. ခီဖျိယွၤ အတၢ်လုၢ်ဟံၣ်တဖၣ်ဘၣ်တၢ်ကးတံာ်ဃာ်အဃိ ကဲထီၣ်တၢ်ခွဲးတၢ်ယာ်လၢ ပှၤစူၢ်က့ၤနာ်က့ၤတၢ်တနီၤအဂီၢ်ဒီးသူကမၣ်ဝဲ ဒ်အမ့ၢ်အဝဲသ့ၣ်အနံၤသဘျ့အသိးန့ၣ်လီၤ. ယွၤအတၢ်မၤလိာ်လၢ အမ့ၢ်, ‘‘သ့ၣ်နီၣ်ထီၣ်မုၢ်အိၣ်ဘှံးနံၤလၢနကပာ်စီဆှံအဂ့ၢ်န့ၣ်တက့ၢ်,’’န့ၣ် တသ့ၣ်နီၣ်ထီၣ်အသးလၢၤဘၣ်. ယွၤတစံၣ်ညီၣ်ကြီ တၢ်ဘၣ်, အိၣ်ဒီးတၢ်ဟ့ၣ်ပလီၢ်ဆိလၢအပှၤဂီၢ်မုၢ်ကိးဂၤအဂီၢ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ယွၤသူၣ်အိၣ်သးအိၣ်ပှၤဒီးဘၣ်ယိၣ်တၢ်လၢပဂီၢ်, ထီဘိဟ့ၣ်ပှၤတၢ်ခွဲးတၢ်ယာ်လၢပကပီၢ်ယၢ်လီၤက့ၤပသး ဒီးဟဲက့ၤဆူအအိၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ.

GOD’S WARNING AND FAVOR

Bible in a Year: Isaiah 27, Isaiah 28; 2 Corinthians 12:10; Psalm 106:40-48

“Yet the time will come when the Lord will gather them together like handpicked grain. One by one he will gather them–from the Euphrates River in the east to the Brook of Egypt in the west.”  
Isaiah 27:12 NLT

God’s favor always is on His people. When the enslaved Israelites cried out to the Lord, God’s favor was with them and He delivered them out of Egypt. God was with them when they crossed the Red Sea, when they wandered, and when they found themselves in the situations surrounding Mount Sinai. We also know the Israelites often rebelled. They forgot about God when their lives were going well. Therefore, God had to give them warnings from time to time so they would repent and come back to Him. Today, we are seeing misguided beliefs from the teachings of false teachers entering into our churches. There is infidelity to God among church members. Human beings think their understanding of God rises up to the level where they rebel against God. Therefore, God is warning us to examine our hearts.

COVID-19 in 2020 is an experience that teaches us many lessons. The word “lockdown” became popular. Doors are locked down. Churches are locked down. But, the door of the sanctuary in our hearts cannot be locked down by the government. Yet, some of us wilfully locked down our own hearts. We use our locked-down time as free time only to bypass worshipping God. We forget about the Sabbath day and to keep it holy. God does not pronounce judgment hastily. Instead, He usually gives us warnings. God favors us and is concerned about us. He is always giving us never-locked-down opportunities to repent and come back to Him.

How is God warning me today? How am I to lead my life?

Prayer

Dear God, please help me so I will see my weaknesses. Guide me so I will understand Your love and favors better. Give me Your wisdom to do Your will. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
