လံာ်စီဆှံအံၤပာ်ဖျါဝဲ ပှၤလ့ၤဝံဖိတဖၣ်အိၣ်လၢ တၢ်လီၢ်အါတီၤလီၤ. လၢတၢ်အံးထွဲကွၢ်ထွဲ ယွၤအတၢ်ဖံးတၢ်မၤတဖၣ် အပူၤ, ပှၤလ့ၤဝံဖိတဖၣ် အိၣ်ဒီးလုၢ်လၢ်လၢစံးထီၣ်ပတြၢၤယွၤထီဘိလီၤ. တၢ်ပာ်လီၤန့ၢ်အဝဲသ့ၣ်လၢ တနံၤအဂီၢ် တနံၤအဂီၢ် တၢ်စံးထီၣ်ပတြၢၤယွၤအဂီၢ်လီၤ. နဃ့မယၤ ၁၂:၂၇ ပာ်ဖျါဝဲ, ‘‘ဒီးတုၤအပာ်စီဆှံယရူၤၡလ့ၣ် အခိၣ်ဒူဒီး, ဃုဝဲလၢပှၤလ့ၤဝံဖိ လၢအလီၢ်ခဲလၢာ်အပူၤ ဒ်သိးအကမၤတၢ်ပာ်စီဆှံန့ၣ်အိၣ်ဒီး အသူၣ်ခုသးခု, ဒီးတၢ်စံးထီၣ်ပတြၢၤ, ဒီးတၢ်သးဝံၣ်, ဒီးစှၢၣ်စှံး, သီတူၢ်, ဒီး တနၢ်လီၤ.’’

PRAISE GOD

The scripture told us that the Levites lived and served in many places. In taking care of the business of God’s house, they were diligent in praising God. There was even a requirement for them to praise God every single day. Nehemiah 12:27 tells us that “At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites out of their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with giving thanks, and with singing, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and with harps.”
Nowadays, believers praise God in quiet meditation or in prayer or by singing hymns or by using all kinds of musical instruments to shout to the Lord. The manner in which we choose to praise God is not of importance. What matters is we praise God to please God. Joseph praised God through his sound character and he pleased God. Daniel praised God by praying faithfully and he pleased God.
By fearing and praising God continually, we will also be praised. Proverbs 31:30 says, “A woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised.” Fearing God is also a way of praising God. The culmination of our praising God will be seeing a new heaven and a new earth perfect with beauty and majesty and finding our names written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Do you praise God when facing hardship? Do you praise God to please Him?
Are you confident that your name will be written in the Lamb’s book of life?
Prayer
Father, we praise you for blessing us up to now and also in the days ahead. In delight or distress, guide us to be steadfast in our faith and praise you continually. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
