THE WORD OF GOD HAS POWER TO HEAL

Peter told Christians who are anxious to come to Jesus. Jesus is the answer to our problems physically and spiritually. I grew up in a family that practiced animism. By God’s grace, I came to know the True God and put my trust in Him. My husband was a believer in Christ. Although my husband and I started a Christian family, there were shortcomings in the family. The way of my husband was wayward and we did not have peace at home. In 2011, we came to the United States to Arizona. I am grateful I get to learn the word of God from pastors and teachers, and they encourage me to serve in the church. Because I get to serve in the church, I gained more understanding about God’s word and ministry, so I invited my family to also learn the Bible and serve the church as well. As we grow in understanding the word of God and because of the Holy Spirit governing our lives, peace began to infiltrate our family. Our church lives out our faith in Christ as best we can. The church also allowed my husband to serve in areas of security, collection, communion distribution, and van maintenance, for the glory of God. On June 10, 2020, my husband was hospitalized and he was called to his heavenly home on July 3, at 6 AM. From the day he was admitted to the hospital to the day he died, none of our family members got to see him. It was a tremendous loss for our family. The year 2020 brought afflictions and despair, crushing my heart and soul. But, my faith in God gives me hope. I can go through these trying times because the word of God encourages me. The Only One who can fully heal my suffering is God.
