မ့ၢ်ယွၤအဘျုးအဃိ, လၢတၢ်ကိၢ်တၢ်ဂီၤတၢ်ဘၣ်ယိၣ်ဘၣ်ဘီအဆၢကတီၢ်န့ၣ်ယွၤမ့ၢ်ပှၤလၢအအိၣ်ဒီးပှၤဒီးမၤစၢၤ ပှၤလီၤ. I FOUND HELP WHEN
HOPE WAS GONE

Because of God’s grace, in times of fear and worry, God is with us and helps us. Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.” When I was in Bible school and there was a school break, I decided to visit a friend living in Ler Doh area. On November 16, 2006, my two friends and I travelled by car and there was no trouble. However, we had to cross the river, Kaw Loh Klo, to get to my friend’s village, and that’s when things took a difficult turn. Around noon, we arrived near the river, where there was a Burmese military station. Villages were around that area too. The soldiers were on guard and they did not allow those who were not Ler Doh residents to cross the river. Many got stuck there. Among the group was a man, who was my friend and also a resident of Ler Doh. He was allowed to cross the river. He informed the pastor to pray for us. The three of us went behind a bush and prayed together holding hands. About 7 PM, we got permission to cross the river. When fear takes over and we are at the end of ourselves, God is near and helps us when we come to Him in faith.
Reflection
Are there barriers or the right time to call upon the Lord? The God we believe in is the God, who loves fellowship, love, peace, and truth. He always is waiting to hear from us.
Prayer
God, You are always with us in times of our needs. Please strengthen and deepen our faith in You. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
