‘‘မၤသးဒ်န့ၣ်ဒီးအိၣ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤစ့ၢ်ကီးသုသးတက့ၢ်. အဂ့ၢ်ဒ်အံၤနၣ်ရံၣ်လၢသုတဆိကမိၣ်ဘၣ်န့ၣ်ပှၤကညီအဖိခွါအံၤကဟဲဝဲလီၤ.‘‘

လံာ်မးသဲ (၂၄) စံးဝဲကစၢ်ခရံာ်ကဟဲက့ၤကဒီးအသီတဘျီန့ၣ်လီၤ. ပကစၢ်ခရံာ်အတၢ်ဟဲတဘျီအံၤတမ့ၢ်ဒ်လၢ ညါတဘျီလၢတၢ်အုၣ်က့ၤခီၣ်က့ၤအဂီၢ်ဘၣ်. မ့ၢ်ဝဲလၢတၢ်စံၣ်ညီၣ်အဂီၢ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ပှၤလၢတစူၢ်တနာ်ယွၤ သ့ၣ်တဖၣ်အဂီၢ် လရာ်တၢ်နးတၢ်ဖှီၣ်လီၤထူလီၤယိာ်အိၣ်ခိးအီၤဒီး, ပှၤလၢအစူၢ်အနာ်ယွၤဒီးလူၤပိာ်ထွဲ ဒိကနၣ်ယွၤအကလုၢ်အဂီၢ်, တၢ်လီၢ်လၢကလဲၤတုၤအိၣ်ဝဲ မ့ၢ်မူခိၣ်တၢ်မုာ်တၢ်ပၢၤ လီၤထူလီၤယိာ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ဒီပုၢ်ဝဲၢ်သ့ၣ်ဧၢ, မုၢ်နံၤခံကတၢၢ်လၢပှၤဟီၣ်ခိၣ်ဖိကဘၣ် ကွၢ်ဆၢၣ်မဲာ်ဝဲ –
(၁) မုၢ်နံၤလၢခရံာ်ကဟဲဒီးစံၣ်ညီၣ်ဟီၣ်ခိၣ်န့ၣ်မတၤမးတသ့ၣ်ညါဝဲဘၣ်. မူခိၣ်ကလူးဒၣ်လဲာ် တသ့ၣ်ညါဝဲဘၣ်. သ့ၣ်ညါဒၣ်ထဲပၢ်တဂၤဧိၤလီၤ. (၂) တၢ်သံအဆၢကတီၢ်လၢပဂီၢ် မတၤမးတသ့ၣ်ညါဘၣ်. ပနီၢ်ကစၢ်ဒၣ်လဲာ် ပတသ့ၣ်ညါဘၣ်. သ့ၣ်ညါဒၣ်ထဲပၢ်တဂၤဧိၤလီၤ.
အဃိ မုၢ်နံၤခံခါအံၤလၢအကဟဲဆူပအိၣ်န့ၣ်ပကြၢးဆိကမိၣ်အါထီၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. (ယၡါယၤ ၁:၉) စံးဝဲ, ‘‘ယွၤမ့ၢ်တပာ် လီၤတဲာ်န့ၢ်ပှၤလၢတၢ်အိၣ်လီၤတဲာ်တစဲးဘၣ်ဒီး ပကမၤပသးဒ်စဒိၣ်, ပကလီၤဂာ်လၢဂမိရၤလီၤ.’’ တၢ်ဆၢကတီၢ် အိၣ်လီၤတဲာ် လၢပဂီၢ်ထဲဒၣ်တစဲးလီၤ. ယွၤဟ့ၣ်ပှၤတၢ်ဆၢကတီၢ်, ယွၤပာ်မူဒံးပှၤအဃိ, လၢတၢ်ဆၢကတီၢ် လၢအတၤပှၤအံၤအပူၤ, ပကပလီၢ်ပသးလၢပမဲာ်ချံအတၢ်ထံၣ်, ပနၢ်အတၢ်နၢ်ဟူ, ပစုအတၢ်မၤ, ပခီၣ်အတၢ်ထွဲ, ဒီး ပတၢ်အိၣ်မူခဲလၢာ်တက့ၢ်. မ်ကမ့ၢ်ဒၣ်ဝဲလၢကစၢ်ယွၤအလၤကပီၤအဂီၢ်တက့ၢ်. မ်ပအိၣ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤသးဒ် မုၣ်ကနီၤယဲၢ်ဂၤလၢအကူၣ်သ့, အဆိးသီ, အိၣ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤအသး လၢလၢပှဲၤပှဲၤအသိးန့ၣ်တက့ၢ်. (၂ ပ့းတရူး ၃:၁၀) စံးဝဲ ‘‘မ့မ့ၢ်ကစၢ်အမုၢ်တနံၤန့ၣ်ကဟဲဝဲဒ်တၢ်ဘျၣ်အသိးန့ၣ်လီၤ. ဒီးလၢအဝဲန့ၣ်အပူၤ, မူခိၣ်ကဒံကွံာ် ဒံဖျိးဝဲလၢတၢ်သီၣ်ဖးဒိၣ်ဒီးအတၢ်မိၢ်ပှၢ်တဖၣ်ကကဲၤထီၣ်ဒီးကဒံကွံာ်ဝဲဒီးဟီၣ်ခိၣ်တၢ်မၤတဖၣ်လၢအပူၤန့ၣ် မ့ၣ်အူကအီၣ်ကွံာ်ဝဲလီၤ.’’

Matthew 24 informed us that Jesus Christ will return. Jesus’ second coming will not be for redemption, but for judgement. For those who do not believe in God, an eternal place of misery awaits them. For those who believe in God and follow and obey Him, an eternal place of joy in heaven will be their destiny. Dear brothers and sisters, regarding the last days we will face, this is what we know. (1) No one knows when the second coming will take place. Even the angels do not know. Only the Father knows. (2) No one knows when we will die. We ourselves do not know. Only the Father knows.
Hence, we need to think more about the last days. In Isaiah 1:9, we read, “Unless Yahweh of Armies had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sodom. We would have been like Gomorrah.” There is only a short time left for us. God is giving us time and keeping us alive during this challenging time, just so we will be careful with what we see, what we hear, what we do, where we talk, and how we live. May it all be for the glory of God. Let us be ready just like the five brides who were wise, prepared, and watchful. We read in 2 Peter 3:10, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.”
Reflection
Being careful is better than magical healing, and being prepared is better than mere waiting. If Jesus Christ returns tomorrow, are you ready?
Prayer
God, Please help us not to be sleeping. Please help your children to be fully ready for your return. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
