FEW ARE CHOSEN

The scripture we read describes the words of Jesus regarding things about heaven and the kind of people who would enter heaven. Jesus himself desires for us to inherit the kingdom of God and dwell in it with Him. He motivates us so we would keenly desire to abide in His presence. Jesus Christ revealed God’s preparation that invites each and everyone of us. Looking closely at the parable of the wedding banquet, we will find and realize God’s love and mercy for the world and His invitation and preparation for us to spend eternity with Him. Jesus said, “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also” (John 14:3).
Jesus Christ is inviting believers as well as non-believers to come to Him. If we believe in Him, we will inherit the kingdom of God. We, as believers, must prepare ourselves by always abiding in His presence. For those who have yet to believe in Christ, there is also an invitation to receive Christ through faith and inherit the kingdom of God. Let us answer Christ’s love and mercy by accepting His calling in our lives as well as inviting others to receive Him as their Savior. By doing so, we will also be chosen.
