THE GOD WE CAN TRUST

There are many things we, on earth, simply cannot do. We are always in need of others’ help in one way or another. God is our refuge. The God we worship can do what we cannot do. We believe what is impossible with men is possible with God. Here, I would like to give testimony about how God made possible what was impossible for me.
When I was in Bible school, I just did not do well academically. On a monthly test, my highest score was only 12. My other scores were seven, eight, or nine marks. The principal called me into his office and said, “Go back to your dorm, take your stuff, and go home.” He kept saying that about two or three times a week. One night, everyone was fast asleep, but I could not sleep. I wondered what I should do to improve my studies. My heart told me, “If God chose you, He would help you.” Right away, I got up and prayed. I told God, “If You actually are choosing me, let me see a sign!” I lay down, closed my eyes, and saw a sign.” I got up again and prayed, “God, if that was the sign you chose me, give me first prize every year for four years; that would become my testimony.” God performed an extraordinary miracle that shocked everyone. God gave me first prize every year for four years and I graduated with high honors. What is impossible with man is possible with God. Trust God.
Reflection
What do we depend on? Only on God can we rely completely; only in God can we trust fully. The reason is that what is impossible with man is possible with God.
Prayer
God, You are omnipotent. Bless us, help us, and give us faith.
