‘‘ဒ်တၢ်ကွဲးအသးလၢဝံယၡါယၤအလံာ်အတၢ်ကတိၤအသိး တၢ်ကလုၢ်သီၣ်ထီၣ်လၢပှၢ်မုၢ်ကနၢဒီးစံးဝဲဒၣ်, ကတဲာ်ကတီၤက့ၤယွၤအကျဲန့ၣ်တက့ၢ်. မၤလိၤအကျဲမုၢ်တဖၣ်န့ၣ်တက့ၢ်.’’

စီၤယိၤဟၣ်တဲပှၤဂီၢ်မုၢ်လၢ ကကတဲာ်ကတီၤက့ၤယွၤအကျဲလီၤ. ဖဲ လံာ်မးသဲ ၂၅:၁-၃၃ န့ၣ်, ကစၢ်ခရံာ်သိၣ်လိပှၤ စ့ၢ်ကီးပှၤလၢတၢ်ကတိၤဒိလၢမုၣ်ကနီၤဆံဆဲၣ်ဂၤအဂ့ၢ်လီၤ. မုၣ်ကနီၤယဲၢ်ဂၤလၢအကူၣ်သ့ဒီးအိၣ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤသး န့ၣ်, လဲၤနုာ်ဘၣ်ဆူမူးအပူၤလၢတလးမူးပိာ်ခွါ, ဒီးမုၣ်ကနီၤယဲၢ်ဂၤလၢတကတဲာ်ကတီၤသးန့ၣ်, အိၣ်တ့ၢ်ဘၣ်လၢ တၢ်သးအုးလီၤ.
(၁) အိၣ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤပသးဒ်သိးပကသ့မၤနၢၤတၢ်အိၣ်မူအတၢ်ကီတၢ်ခဲ – စီၤဒၤဝံးကွၢ်ဆၢၣ်မဲာ်ပှၤဖလ့ၡသးဖိဒီး မၤနၢၤ အသုးခိၣ်ကျၢၢ် စီၤကၤလယး ထဲလၢနီၣ်ဘျူးဖိတခါဒီးလၢၢ်ယဲၢ်ဖျၢၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ (၁ၡမူၤအ့လး ၁၇:၄၉-၅၁). စီၤဒၤဝံး မ့ၢ် ပှၤလၢအရ့လိာ်အသးဒီးယွၤ ဒီးဟံးန့ၢ်တၢ်ဂံၢ်တၢ်ဘါလၢယွၤထီဘိ ဖဲအကွၢ်အပၢ်အသိဒီးမဲာ်တဲးလဲး ထဲတဂၤဧိၤလၢ ပှၢ်ယိာ်အပူၤလီၤ. ထဲအအိၣ်ဒီးအစုကဝဲၤအဆံးဖိသနာ်က့, စီၤဒၤဝံးမၤနၢၤခ့ယုၢ်, ဆၣ်ဖိကီၢ်ဖိ, ဒီး သုးခိၣ် စီၤကၤလယး ခီဖျိအတၢ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤအိၣ်လၢတၢ်ရ့ဒီးယွၤဒီးတၢ်နာ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. တကးဒံးဘၣ် လၢအတၢ်လဲၤခီဖျိတဖၣ်အဖီခိၣ် ကွဲးဝဲ ထါတဖၣ်လၢ အကဲထီၣ်တၢ်မၤစၢၤတၢ်ဟ့ၣ်ဂံၢ်ဟ့ၣ်ဘါလၢပဂီၢ် ဖဲပလဲၤခီဖျိဘၣ်တၢ်အိၣ်မူအတၢ်ကီတၢ်ခဲတဖၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ.
(၂) အိၣ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤပသးဒ်သိးပကသ့မၤပှဲၤပသးသမူအတၢ်လိၣ်ဘၣ် – ကစၢ်ခရံာ်သိၣ်လိပှၤလၢဖိသဒါအဂ့ၢ်ဖဲ လူၤကၣ် ၁၅:၁၂-၂၄ လီၤ. မ့ၢ်လၢဖိသဒါ အဲၣ်ဒိးတၢ်သဘျ့, လူၤဖဲအသးမၤဖဲအသးအဃိ, မၤဆှုမၤဂီၤကွံာ် အတၢ်န့ၢ် သါ တုၤဒၣ်လဲာ်အအဲၣ်ဒိးအီၣ်ဝဲထိးဆၣ်ဒၣ်လဲာ်လီၤ. ဆံးမ့ၢ်ဂ့ၤ, အါမ့ၢ်ဂ့ၤ, ယွၤဟ့ၣ်ပှၤတၢ်န့ၢ်သါ, တၢ်ဟ့ၣ်သါတဖၣ် လၢ ပကဘၣ်ကတီၤအီၤဒ်သိးပကမၤတၢ်ဒီးမၤလၢပှဲၤတၢ်အလိၣ်တဖၣ်လၢပဂီၢ်ဒီးပဟံၣ်ဖိဃီဖိအဂီၢ်န့ၣ်လီၤ.
(၃) အိၣ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤပသးဒ်သိးပကသဂၢၢ်ဘၣ်ကစၢ်ခရံာ်အတၢ်ဟဲခံစုတစု (မုၢ်နံၤခံကတၢၢ်) – တဘျီယၤဒီး ယမါတဲသကိးတၢ်ဒီးပဖိမုၣ်လၢယိၤကီၢ်တဂၤ, ဘၣ်ဃးထံကီၢ်တၢ်ကီတၢ်ခဲ, တၢ်ကိၢ်တၢ်ဂီၤ, တၢ်ဆီၣ်သနံးတဖၣ်, ထံကီၢ်ကလုာ်ဒူၣ်တဖၣ်အတၢ်ထီဒါလိာ်သး, တၢ်ဒုးတၢ်ယၤအကစီၣ်တဖၣ်, ခိဘ့း-၁၉ တၢ်ဆါလီၤပျံၤလီၤဖုးတဖၣ် အဂ့ၢ်လီၤ. ယဖိမုၣ်သံကွၢ်အမိၢ်, ‘‘မိဧၢ, နအိၣ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤနသးလၢတၢ်ကသဂၢၢ်ကစၢ်ခရံာ်အတၢ်ဟဲခံစုတစုအဂီၢ် လံဧါ.’’ တၢ်ဂ့ၢ်လၢပတဲသကိးတဖၣ်အံၤ မ့ၢ်မုၢ်နံၤခံကတၢၢ်အတၢ်လီၤပျံၤလီၤဖုးအတၢ်ပနီၣ်တဖၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ. ပဝဲပှၤနာ် ကစၢ်ခရံာ်တဖၣ်အတၢ်မုၢ်လၢ်အဒိၣ်ကတၢၢ် မ့ၢ်ကစၢ်ခရံာ်အတၢ်ဟဲခံစုတစု ဖဲပကအိၣ်ဘၣ်ဒီးအီၤ လၢယွၤအဘီ အမုၢ်အပူၤန့ၣ်လီၤ. ကစၢ်ခရံာ်ဒုးသ့ၣ်ညါပှၤစ့ၢ်ကီးဖဲ လူၤကၣ် ၁၂:၄၀, ‘‘မၤသးဒ်န့ၣ်ဒီးအိၣ်ကတဲာ်ကတီၤသုသး တက့ၢ်. အဂ့ၢ်ဒ်အံၤ, ဖဲနၣ်ရံၣ်လၢသုတဆိကမိၣ်ဘၣ်န့ၣ်, ပှၤကညီဖိခွါအံၤဟဲဝဲလီၤ.’’

BE PREPARED
Bible in A Year: Numbers 9:15-23, Numbers 10, Numbers 11:1-3; Luke 3:1-22; Psalm 35:19-28
“As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord. Make his paths straight.”

John told the people to prepare the way for the Lord. In Matthew 25:1-33, Jesus taught us a parable of the ten virgins. The five wise virgins were prepared and got to enter the wedding banquet. The five foolish virgins were not prepared and were left out in sadness.
(1) Be prepared to overcome life’s troubles – David faced the Philistines and conquered their general Goliath with just a sling and five stones (1 Samuel 17:49-51). David spent time with God closely when he was tending his father’s sheep and goats alone in the wilds and got his strength from the Lord. He only had a sling and stones, but he slew lions, animals, and even Goliath because he was well-prepared by having an intimate relationship with God and a strong faith in Him. Moreover, David captured his experiences in Psalms and Proverbs, which are sources of help and encouragement for us when we go through hard times.
(2) Be prepared to fulfill life’s needs – Jesus taught us about the prodigal son in Luke 15:12-24. Because he wanted freedom and indulged in himself, he wasted his inheritance to the point where he was destitute and wanted to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating. Large or small, the inheritance God gives us must be managed so we can meet our needs and those of our family members.
(3) Be prepared to meet Jesus on His second coming – Once, my wife and I talked to my daughter in Thailand about turmoils in the country, warfare among nations, and COVID-19 pandemic. My daughter asked her mother, “Mom, are you prepared for Christ’s second coming?” The subjects we talked about are frightening signs of the last days. For believers, our highest hope is in Christ’s second coming when we will be with Him in heaven. Jesus told us in Luke 12:40, “Therefore be ready also, for the Son of Man is coming in an hour that you don’t expect him.”
Being prepared is one of the most important things. Let us not carelessly lead our lives and neglect being prepared!
Reflection
What is the most important thing you need to be prepared for? Noah did not start building the ark only when he saw the rain.
Prayer
God, destroy the desire that seeks to gratify our insatiable wants, but strengthen the heart that needs to focus on being prepared.
