LET US PRAISE GOD
Bible in A Year: Numbers 2:10-34, Numbers 3; Luke 1:39-56; Psalm 34:1-10
May God’s Name be praised and honored for ever and ever. Amen. The people of God, the chosen ones, praise God for His miraculous work for our Karen people! Israelites, God delivered them across the Red Sea; Karen, God delivered them across the wide ocean. What a miracle! Let us praise God with Psalm 34:1-10!
Psalm 34:1 – David said he would bless God at all times and His praise will always be in his mouth. Let us praise God!
Psalm 34:2 – David said his soul shall boast in Yahweh, which also means David’s pride is in God’s strength. Let us praise God!
Psalm 34:3 – David asked us to exalt God’s Name forever. Let us praise God!
Psalm 34:4 – David said he sought God. Whenever he needed God in times of fear, God helped him. Let us praise God!
Psalm 34:5 – Those who look to God will not be shamed. Let us praise God!
Psalm 34:6 – Rich or poor, call upon the Lord in truth and God will hear them. Let us praise God!
Psalm 34:7 – Those who fear the Lord will be surrounded by angels. Let us praise God!
Psalm 34:8 – Those who taste the Lord will see He is good. Those who take refuge in Him will be blessed. Let us praise God!
Psalm 34:9 – Those who fear God lack nothing. Let us praise God!
Psalm 34:10 – The lions may go weak and hungry. But those who fear, honor, depend on, and hope in God will not be denied good things from the Lord. Let us praise God!
Reflection
What is stopping you from praising God? If you follow David’s direction, will you have reasons to worry? Definitely not!
