GOD’S CALLING FOR ME

First and foremost, I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity to write this article and share my experiences with others. My name is Saw Abraham Say. I come from a family that believes in traditional animism. I heard God’s calling in 1992, when I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. The second time I heard His calling was in 1997, when I was given the opportunity to study theology at Kawthoolei Karen Baptist Bible School and College (KKBBSC) for three years. There was no financial support for me and my mother was against it as well. However, by the grace of God, the principal told me that I could attend the seminary and pay the tuition fees later. The third calling was in the year 2000, when I served in a village for five years. The fourth calling was in 2014, when I was invited to become the pastor at the Living Water Church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States of America.
John 15:16 says, “You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” God is glorifying us whenever He calls on us for His ministry. Thus, it is our duty to sing His praises without ceasing. Dear brothers and sisters, may you find health and wellness in Christ. May God bless you and protect you. May we serve Him with rejoicing, willingness and courage whenever we are called upon to glorify Him and to sing praises without ceasing.
