ယိၤဟၣ် ၈:၃၁-၃၂ – ‘‘မၤသးဒ်န့ၣ်ဒီးယ့ၣ်ၡူးစံးဘၣ်ပှၤယူဒၤဖိလၢအစူၢ်က့ၤနာ်က့ၤအီၤတဖၣ်န့ၣ်, သုမ့ၢ်အိၣ်မ့ၢ်ဆိးလၢ ယကလုၢ်ကထါအပူၤဒီး သုမ့ၢ်ယပျဲၢ်ယဘီၣ်အနီၢ်အသံးလီၤ. ဒီးသုကသ့ၣ်ညါတၢ်မ့ၢ်တၢ်တီ, ဒီးတၢ်မ့ၢ်တၢ်တီန့ၣ် ကမၤထူၣ်ဖျဲးသုလီၤ.’’
အဆိယစံးဘျုးဘၣ်ကစၢ်ယွၤဒိၣ်မးလၢအပာ်မူယၤ, ထုးထီၣ်က့ၤယၤလၢတၢ်ဒဲးဘးအပူၤလီၤ. ယမ့မ့ၢ်တ့ၢ်ဖိလၢအလူၤအသးဒီး မၤဖဲတၢ်ဘၣ်ယသးဘၣ်ဆၣ် ကစၢ်ယွၤအတၢ်အဲၣ်ဒီး အဘျုးအဖှိၣ်လၢအဘၣ်ယၤသ့ၣ်တဖၣ်တလီၤတူာ်နီတဘျီဘၣ်လီၤ. ယမ့ၢ်ပှၤလၢအဘျၢထံဝံၤဖဲလၢယသးစၢ်အခါလံၤလံၤတချုးယဟဲဒံးဆူကီၢ်အမဲရကၤဒံးဘၣ်လီၤ. ယဟဲတုၤအရံၣ်စိနါကီၢ်စဲၣ်ဝံၤ အလီၢ်ခံ, ယတလဲၤတုၤလၢသရိာ်ပူၤနီတဘျီဘၣ်လီၤ. ယအိၣ်ဒီးယမါ, ယဖိမုၣ်ခံဂၤဒီးဖိခွါတဂၤလီၤ. ယအိၣ်မူတ့ၢ်လၢ တၢ်ခံး တၢ်နၤအကျါခီဖျိတၢ်အီတၢ်အီၣ်, တၢ်တၤကျိၣ်တၤစ့, တၢ်တဟံးန့ၢ်ပၢ်အမူအဒါ, တၢ်တမၤမုာ်ယမါအသး, မၤကမၣ်ဘၣ်ယမါ, ယဟံၣ်ဖိဃီဖိဒီးကစၢ်ယွၤလီၤ. ဖဲယအိၣ်မူတ့ၢ်ဒ်န့ၣ်အခါ ယပလၢၢ်ဘၣ်ဒ်သိးတၢ်ဖးဒိၣ်တဒုအိၣ်လၢယလိၤ, ပၢယၤဒီးယမၤ မုၣ်ကီၤလံၢ်အတၢ်မၤကဲ, ဒီးမုာ်ထီဘိလီၤ. ဖဲယနၢ်ဟူကစၢ်ယွၤအကလုၢ်ကထါတဘျီဂ့ၤတဘျီဂ့ၤန့ၣ် ယသးထီၣ်ပှၤလၢအကတိၤ တၢ်ဒီးသးဟ့ကစၢ်ယွၤလီၤ. ယသးလီၤဘှံးထီဘိဒီးလီၤဟိဝဲန့ၣ်လီၤ. တဘျီဂ့ၤတဘျီဂ့ၤ ဖဲလၢယဘၣ်တၢ်ကီတၢ်ခဲအခါန့ၣ် ယကိးထီၣ်ယွၤဒီးယွၤမၤစၢၤယၤဘၣ်ဆၣ် ယတအိၣ်ဒီးတၢ်စံးဘျုးယွၤနီတဘျီဘၣ်. မ့မ့ၢ်တခီယမၤကဒါက့ၤ မုၣ်ကီၤလံၢ်အတၢ်ဖံး တၢ်မၤတဖၣ်ထီဘိလီၤ. ယနီမၢတၢ်အိၣ်ဖှိၣ်သရၣ်တဖၣ်ဒီး တၢ်အိၣ်ဖှိၣ်ခိၣ်နၢ်တနီၤလၢကဟဲဘါထုကဖၣ်တၢ်လၢယဂီၢ်လီၤ. ဖဲအဝဲသ့ၣ်ဘါထုကဖၣ်တၢ်လၢယဂီၢ်အခါန့ၣ် ယထံၣ်မှံဒ်သိးယအိၣ်လၢတၢ်အစိးနါ, ဘူးယကလီၤတဲာ်နုာ်ဆူလရာ်အပူၤန့ၣ်လီၤ. ဖဲန့ၣ်အခါယကွၢ်ထီၣ်တၢ်ဒီး ယထံၣ်ကစၢ်ခရံာ်ယူာ်ဃီၤအစုဆူယအိၣ်ဒီးကိးက့ၤယၤလီၤ. အဝဲသ့ၣ်ထုကဖၣ်တၢ်လၢယဂီၢ်ဝံၤ အလီၢ်ခံ, ယအၢၣ်လီၤအဝဲသ့ၣ်ဒီးယွၤလၢကဆီတလဲယတၢ်အိၣ်မူလီၤ. အဝဲသ့ၣ်ဟ့ၣ်ဂံၢ်ဟ့ၣ်ဘါယၤဒီး ဘါထုကဖၣ်တၢ်လၢယဂီၢ် ထီဘိလီၤ. ဘၣ်ဆၣ်ယကျဲးစၢးပာ်တ့ၢ်ကွံာ်ယတၢ်အိၣ်မူလီၢ်လံၤသ့ၣ်တဖၣ်တန့ၢ်ဘၣ်ဒီး ယမၤကဒါက့ၤခူသူၣ်ခဲလၢာ်လီၤ. စှၤနွံဝံၤ အလီၢ်ခံ ယဆိးက့နးနးတုၤယဘၣ်လဲၤထီၣ်တၢ်ဆါဟံၣ်လီၤ. တကတီၢ်ဃီ ယသ့ၣ်ညါလၢကစၢ်ယွၤဖျ့ယၤလီၤ. ယကျဲးစၢး ပာ်တ့ၢ်ကွံာ်မုၣ်ကီၤလံၢ်အတၢ်မၤဘၣ်ဆၣ် သးလၢအခံးတဖျၢၣ်ဒီးတၢ်ဖးဒိၣ်တဒု ဒိးဃာ်ယၤန့ၢ်ဒံးအဖၢမုၢ်လီၤ. ယဃ့ဘါထုကဖၣ် တၢ်လၢတၢ်ပီၢ်ယၢ်လီၤသးနီၢ်နီၢ်အပူၤလီၤ. ယအၢၣ်လီၤတ့ၢ်ကစၢ်ယွၤဒ်အံၤလီၤ. “ယွၤဧၢ, ယသ့ၣ်ညါလၢ နမ့ၢ်ယကစၢ်လၢအတ့ လီၤယၤဒီးဟ့ၣ်ယၤသးသမူတဂၤလီၤ. ယနီၢ်ခိနီၢ်သးခဲလၢာ်မ့ၢ်နတၢ်လီၤ. ဖဲလၢမုၣ်ကီၤလံၢ်စၢဃာ်တ့ၢ်ယၤ ဃံးဃံးအခါဒီး ပှၤဟီၣ် ခိၣ်ဖိမၤထူၣ်ဖျဲးယၤတန့ၢ်လၢၤဘၣ်အခါန့ၣ် နမ့ၢ်ကစၢ်လၢအအဲၣ်ယၤဒီးထုးထီၣ်က့ၤယၤလၢတၢ်စၢဃာ်အပူၤဒီးလဲက့ၤယသးအသီ သ့အဃိ မၤစၢၤဘၣ်ယၤလၤ ဒီးဟ့ၣ်ယၤတၢ်ထူၤဖျဲး လၢနီၢ်ခိဒီးနီၢ်သးတက့ၢ်. ယနီၢ်ခိအမ့ၢ်ယွၤအတၢ်လုၢ်ဟံၣ်အံၤ ဒီးစးထီၣ် တနံၤအံၤဒီးဆူညါ ယအဲၣ်ဒိးဟ့ၣ်လီၤဆူနအိၣ်ခဲလၢာ်လီၤ. သူယၤဖဲတၢ်ဘၣ်နသးတက့ၢ်. အၤမ့ၣ်.” စးထီၣ်မုၢ်နံၤအဝဲန့ၣ်တုၤခဲအံၤ ကအိၣ်တနံၣ်လံ. ယတအဲၣ်ဒိးအီတၢ်အီၣ်တၢ်, တၤကျိာ်တၤစ့ ဒီးမၤကမၣ်ယဖိယမါ နီတဘျီလၢၤဘၣ်. ဒ်ယၤကိာ် ၅:၁၅ စံးဝဲ အသိး “ဒီးတၢ်စူၢ်တၢ်နာ်အတၢ်ထုကဖၣ်န့ၣ်, ကအုၣ်က့ၤခီၣ်က့ၤပှၤဆါ, ဒီးကစၢ်ကဒုးဂဲၤဆၢထၢၣ်အီၤ, ဒီးအတၢ်ဒဲးဘးလၢအမၤ တ့ၢ်လံမ့ၢ်အိၣ်ဒီး, တၢ်ကပျၢ်ကွံာ်အီၤလီၤ.” ယအဲၣ်မၤလိက့ၤ လံာ်စီဆှံဒီး အဲၣ်ဒိးတဲဘၣ်ပှၤဂၤလၢ ကစၢ်ယွၤမၤသဘျ့ယၤအသိး န့ၣ် အဲၣ်ဒိးမၤသဘျ့နၤစ့ၢ်ကီးလီၤ. ယစးထီၣ်မၤလိလံာ်စီဆှံလၢ ယတံၤသကိးစှၤဂၤဒီး သရၣ်အဲၣ်ထူဝါဆိ ဘူးကအိၣ်တနံၣ်ဃၣ် ဃၣ်လံန့ၣ်လီၤ. ယစးထီၣ်ဆှၢက့ၤ ယဖိမုၣ်ဖိခွါသ့ၣ်တဖၣ်ဆူ တၢ်မၤလိလံာ်စီဆှံစ့ၢ်ကီးလီၤ. ယတမ့ၢ်ဒ်ပၢ်လၢအလၢပှဲၤတဂၤဘၣ်. တမ့ၢ်စ့ၢ်ကီးဝၤလၢအထီၣ်ဘးတဂၤဘၣ်. ဘၣ်ဆၣ် ယကျဲးစၢးအဂ့ၤကတၢၢ်ဒ်သိးယကမ့ၢ်ပၢ်ဒီးဝၤအဂ့ၤကတၢၢ်လၢ ယဟံၣ်ဖိဃီဖိ အဂီၢ်ခီဖျိထဲလၢ ခရံာ်အဂံၢ်အဘါလီၤ. ဒ်ယွၤ အသးမုၢ်စီဆှံပျၢ်ယတၢ်ကမၣ် ဒုးထူၣ်ဖျဲးထီၣ်က့ၤယၤ, သ့စီကွံာ်ယတၢ်ဒဲးဘးခီဖျိ တၢ်ပီၢ်ယၢ်လီၤက့ၤယသးဒီး စူၢ်က့ၤနာ်က့ၤအီၤအသိး ယွၤအဲၣ်ဒိးတူၢ်လိာ်နၤဒီး မၤထူၣ်ဖျဲးထီၣ်က့ၤနၤလၢ မုၣ်ကီၤလံၢ်အတၢ်စၢ ဃာ်သ့ၣ်တဖၣ်ခဲလၢာ်လီၤ. မ်ပကဟဲက့ၤဆူအအိၣ်လၢတၢ်ပီၢ်ယၢ်လီၤက့ၤနသးနီၢ်နီၢ်တက့ၢ်.

Week 49
GOD FREED ME AND DELIVERED ME FROM SATAN’S SNARE
John 8:31-34 – “Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” (WEB)
First, I am grateful to God for keeping me alive and setting me free from my sin. I was once unrestrained in indulging myself, but the grace of God was never lacking for me. I was baptized at a young age before coming to America. After arriving in Arizona, I never went to church. I have a wife, two daughters, and one son. I was active in the realm of darkness, always drinking, gambling, not taking a fatherly responsibility, pleasing only myself, and transgressing against my wife, my family, and even God. When I was living that life, it felt as if there was a beast living in me, controlling me, and making me do the work of the devil and it was fun. Whenever I heard the word of God, I despised the ones who spoke it and hated God. My heart was always weary and empty. But I called on the Lord whenever I was in trouble and He helped me. In spite of that, I was never grateful to God. I always returned to do the work of the devil. My sister asked pastors and church leaders to come and pray for me. When they came and prayed for me, I felt like I fell into a trance standing on the edge about to fall into hell. I looked up and saw God extending His hand to me and pulling me back. They always encouraged and prayed for me. But, I still could not leave behind my bad lifestyle and did the same old bad things in secret. A few weeks later, I got very seriously sick and was admitted to the hospital. I knew God was teaching me a lesson. Although I tried to leave bad habits, my dark heart and the beast were still overpowering me. I then started praying to God with all my heart in genuine repentance, “God, I know You are the God Who created me and gave me life. My body and my heart are all yours. When the devil is controlling me tightly and no human can help free me from his grip, I know You can deliver me and give me a new heart. Please help me. Please free my body and my soul. My body is Your temple and from this day forward, I want to give all of me to You. Please use me as You will. Amen.” It has been one year since I said this prayer. Since then, I have not wanted to drink or gamble or dishonor my wife and family not even once. James 5:15 says, “and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” I love learning the Word of God now. Just as God delivered me, He wants to deliver you too. I have been engaging in Bible study with a few friends and Pastor Ehhtoowah Hso for almost a year. I also have been taking my children to Sunday school and Bible study. I am not a perfect father. I fall short as a husband. But, I am trying to be the best father and husband as I can be with the strength of Jesus Christ. Just as God’s Holy Spirit forgives me, sets me free, and washes my sins clean when I repent and put my complete trust in God, He wants to do the same for you. God accepts you and wants to set you free from all the controls of the devil. Let us come back to God in true repentance!

REFLECT
Often the things we did in the past continue to imprison us through shame, insecurity and feelings of unworthiness to serve God. 2Timothy 2:15 says, “Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.” Saw Shee Kapaw Soe said that from this day forward, he and his family will serve the Lord. Even if the temptations higher than the sky and deeper than the ocean come his way, Saw Shee Kapaw Soe also said he is not afraid because God is with him.

PRAYER FOR THE READER
Dear God, please bless Your children reading this devotional journal. I pray your children will believe and accept that “if they confess their sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive them their sins, and to cleanse them from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Please break all the chains that are enslaving them and throw those shackles into the depth of the ocean. Help them so they know You have taken away their shame and insecurity. Let them fully experience Your freedom by Your grace! May they seek to understand the purpose and work You have prepared for them and may they surrender their lives to You. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
